FABRICATION OF AUTOMATIC DRILLING AND REAMING ATTACHMENT

OBJECTIVE;

To develop industrial automation and assist with CIM environment.

To promote the unmanned industry.

Project Background;

In the present global rationalization and competitive world most of

the industries set up unmanned industry in order to eliminate labour cost

and to increase productivity.

SYNOPSIS;

The main aim of this project is to acquire practical Knowledge in the field of

automation using PLC. . In this project “FABRICATION OF AUTOMATIC

DRILLING AND REAMING ATTACHMENT ” the job is feeded, drilled and

reamed automatically.

Initially the job is loaded manually. The job , drilling, reaming feed

movements done by the separate DC motors through the lead screw and nut

mechanism .These motors are controlled by the PLC .

These movements are stopped at particular position using magnetic

sensors which sends the signal to the input of PLC .The entire operation is

done automatically by using PLC, the components are manufactured with less

time and the production rates are increased.
