As international arrivals dipped to unprecedented levels we must break new ground with sustainable initiatives and recalibrate ourselves for the new normal. 

Amid disruptions, tourism and travel businesses have quickly adapted to new guidelines and redesigned visitor offerings, from hotels to curated tours and attractions to MICE and leisure. In undertaking rigorous protocols such as adhering to Safe Management Measures and employing seamless creative solutions such as contactless technology and cleaning robots, we turn adversity into opportunity.   

The SHATEC education upholds its own iconic brand of hospitality excellence. As a graduate of one of the most recognised hospitality institutions in this region, we look forward to your contributions and welcome you in joining us. I hope your education has been filled with lasting fond memories, and you enter the next exciting life stage moored in lifetime values that will attract a world of possibilities.

Due to the spread of the novel coronavirus, we made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s graduation ceremony. In its place, we have organised a series of online celebratory activities. While we may not be able to gather in person for commencement, this does not diminish the great accomplishments of our graduates. This graduation marks a reflection of you: your positivity, your academic progress, your ambitions for the future. Not even a global pandemic is going to keep you from the path of continuous learning. As we anticipate obstacles to come in the revival of our industry, you will have the opportunity to acquire valuable lessons faster than those before you.
