Section +. 'his Act affir)s that the Republic of the (hilippines has do)inion, so;ereignty and >urisdiction o;er all portions of the national territory as defined in the 2onstitution and by pro;isionsof applicable laws including, without li)itation, Republic Act o. 91$" , otherwise nown as the +ocal

o;ern)ent 2ode of 1 1, as a)ended.

Section ,. 'his Act, together with the geographic coordinates and the chart and )aps indicating the

aforesaid baselines, shall be deposited and registered with the Secretary eneral of the Cnitedations.

Section 5. 'he ational Mapping and Resource 5nfor)ation Authority 0 AMR5A shall forthwithproduce and publish charts and )aps of the appropriate scale clearly representing the delineation ofbasepoints and baselines as set forth in this Act.

Section -. 'he a)ount necessary to carry out the pro;isions of this Act shall be pro;ided in asupple)ental budyet or included in the eneral Appropriations Act of the year of its enact)ent intolaw.

Section . 5f any portion or pro;ision of this Act is declared unconstitutional or in;alid the other

portions or pro;isions hereof which are not affected thereby shall continue to be in full force andeffect.

Section . 'he pro;isions of Republic Act o. !"#$, as a)ended by Republic Act o. *##$, and allother laws, decrees, e3ecuti;e orders, rules and issuances inconsistent with this Act are herebya)ended or )odified accordingly.

Section 9. 'his Act shall ta e effect fifteen 01* days following its publication in the Official Gazette or in any two 06 newspaper of general circulation.
