Quick check: In ourpulse oximetersmartOx you have the
perfect ins trument for making a spot check in emergency
situations or as part of routine workin medicalpractices.
The small device that fits in a lab coat pocket gives you
precise readings of your patients oxygen saturation and
heart rate. With our MODULCapnoVol you can always see
how effective administered ventilation is. Inthis case too
reliable monitoring tells you when fast intervention is nec-
essary, whether you are at the scene of an emergency or
in hospit
al.

Concentrate completely on emergency ventilation. Dont
waste any time with sorting and untangling cables. With the
MODU L CapnoVol on the LIFE-BAS Eportable system rightnext
to the ventilator, you can convenientlymonitor the ventilator as
it works. MODU L CapnoVol displays the expiratory volume and
the CO2
content inexhaledair(capnography) for sure, accurate
and conclusive results.
Intuitiveoperation
Large and cleardisplay
Shows expiratoryvolume and CO2

Has an extensive acoustic and visualalarm system
Up to two hours of continuous operation
Fits on the LIFE-BASEportable system
Existing LIFE-BAS E systems can be retrofit
Pulse oximetry
Fast and effective
Supply ing an adequate amount of oxygen to the body is one of our vital func-
tions. If the process is disrupted, we are threatened by respiratory distress and
exhaust ion. Medicalpersonnel use pulseox imetry to monitor oxygen saturat ion
of hemog lobin and thus the supply of oxygen to the body. This non-invasive
method eliminates the ne ed forblood samples, avoids the risks involved with
sampling and demands much less medicalexpertise from the user.
Ourpulse ox imetry shows photometrically measured oxygen saturation (SpO2)
and pulse rate. For more than 20 years this tried-and-tested process has become
one of the most importantelements inpatientmon itoring for use inanesthesiol-
ogy, intensive care units and in rescue serv ices. Pulse ox imetry makes possible
spot checks and continuous measurement of oxygen saturation.
