Upcoming System Functionality
Grants Releases Information for April 2020 Added for All Users: a confirmation message will generate when
performing an action in manage permissions within Pega. When a user completes an action, a confirmation message will appear to notify the user if the action was successful or not.
Removed for All Users: the validation that requires an upload of SF-424B form by recipients in the external portal of ezFedGrants was removed. OMB Memo M-18-24 states this form is now optional.
As of October 2019, the External portal was refreshed with increased speed, updated user interface, and improved architecture.

Common ezFedGrants External Portal FAQsI have created an application in the system, but I can't get back to it or I can't find it.
You will not be able to access the application if a section that should have been automatically filled in was not, and you will have to create another application. When a user starts to complete their application, the name of the organization and the DUNS number should auto-populate. If the user creates the application correctly, it auto fills as designed. If it does not, the application stalls and does not flow to the intended individual(s) because no organization is indicated; therefore, the application does not know where to go. There is no option to manually fill in the applicant information portion of the application, so you will need to start a new application. Please follow the steps outlined in the eFG Advisory Creating Applications in the External Portal 042020.pdf to begin the application process correctly. Before you proceed with completing the application, please make sure that that information is filled in, otherwise, it will stall in the approval workflow and become null and void.

I need to upload/submit a report, how can I do that?• Reports are generated in the system not uploaded to it. please refer to Submit Financial or Performance
Reports in ezFedGrants Job Aid for details on submitting financial and performance progress reports through the ezFedGrants External Portal.
My organizations’ reports are assigned to the wrong recipient(s).• If the reports are with the Grants Administrative Officer (GAO), they can access their Actionable Items to
reassign the reports. If not, please contact the help desk for resolution.

The next several slides provide instructions on how to run the report.Log into FMMI and select the Grantor Management tab. Then select the Grants and Agreement Management External Portal.

Pega User ReportSelect Work and User Reports from the menu on the left. Next click Pega User Report in the Report Title. Displayed will be a list of all eFG users (internal/external).
