Grinder ChallengeTraditional grinder maintenance requires full removal from the pipe work to replace the grinder's cutters, spacers, and shafts. This job is strained by reduced maintenance budgets and diminishing in-house expertise.

EZ SolutionThe EZstrip™ series of grinders offer a competitive solution to solids grinding and sludge conditioning. The EZstrip™ TR Munchers® include the quick access port allowing the cutter stack assembly to be maintained-in-place reducing maintenance time from an entire day to just a few hours.

Maintain-in-Place Capabilities

Angled cutter stack "upflow" design rejects hard materials reducing the risk of damage to the cutter teeth.

Built-in trash trap is situated below and away from the cutter stack to catch any rejected

material. Rejected items can be removed or flushed out through the clean out port.

Assumptions: Labor cost per hour is $60, grinder type is CT203 (6"), flow rate is 400 gpm, pump life is 15 years, maintenance inspection is 30 minutes once a year, maintenance intervention is 2.5 hours every two years, and inflation rate of 3%
