This half term in EYFS, the children will be exploring the topic ’Star Light
Star Bright’. We’ll listen carefully to a presentation about the patterns of
the stars, and ask questions about the universe. Snuggling up with comfy
cushions and blankets, we’ll listen to bedtime stories and nursery rhymes.
Zzz.. In our mathematics lessons, we’ll look at Rangoli patterns, star con-
stellations and moon shapes. Some of the festivals and celebrations we will
explore include, Diwali, Bonfire Night, Remembrance Day and Christmas
These are just a few of the texts we will be looking into during our shared
Literacy sessions.
