JT Head

The Snap Head is a master performer in nylon extrusion.

Its fixed centered, utilitarian design uses Snap tooling,

which makes set-up simple and easy.

And with its smooth, efficient operation, the Snap Head is

ideal for nylon applications in wire and cable jacketing,

requiring a consistent balanced flow that produces high

clarity, adhesion and strength.

RN Head

The RN Head is a single layer crosshead, designed

specifically for extruding fine wire products. From

telecommunications to electronics the RN Head offers

the ease of a fixed center design with a precision, high

flow balance for greater concentricity in wire extrusions

from 2mm to 5mm. And with better control, the RN Head

consistently delivers successful results with greater

productivity and minimal scrap.

Switcher Head

The Switcher™ brings extreme efficiency to extrusion

processing with its ability to run 2 consecutive colors without

stopping the production process. This dual layer, coextrusion

technology easily diverts compound from 2 extruders onto the

inner and outer layers of the extruded product. So, when the

first production quantity is completed, simply shift the Color

Layer Switch to transpose the inner and outer layers and the

next production run begins! There’s no waste... no additional

set uptime. Just exceptional performance and productivity.

Multi-Conductor Head

The Multi-Conductor Crosshead is a JoeTools innovation that

makes set up quick and easy. With its unique zero core tube

design, the Multi-Conductor Head allows the operator to feed

the conductors directly into the tip, changing what used to be a

laborious and tedious task into a simple and easy process. And

the Multi-Conductor Head can be manufactured for extrusion

runs with as many as 50 conductors. This system can bring

an enormous increase in productivity, especially with fine wire,

multi-conductor runs of 20 or more.


Features: Zero core tube with 2 to 50

conductors fed directly into the tip

S.O.S. Head

The S.O.S.™ Head does it all! As a standard, fixed-center,

dual-layer crosshead, the S.O.S. head is capable of running

single-layer, dual-layer and skin layer applications... with

multiple stripes on top of it all! And if your process requires

an adjustable head, the S.O.S. can easily be converted to an

adjustable crosshead with minimal parts. Plus, ease of use

and simplicity for the operator allow this head to streamline

production, while reducing down-time and scrap.

The Joe-4 is a fixed center, dual-layer crosshead for the

simultaneous extrusion of two compound layers, and it

is the choice for a wide variety of applications. Its

co-extrusion capabilities increase process efficiency and

reducing the costs of operation. The Joe-4 Head also

In-Line Head

The In-line Head brings vast experience and success in

extruding a wide range of Hose, Pipe and Tubing products.

With its In-line melt flow, this head offers a higher flow

balance with minimized pressure fluxuation, for greater

product stability and strength. And with better control in

concentricity and the elimination of melt fracture, the

In-line Head is ideal for small, fine tubing that requires

a consistent wall thickness.

Scooter Head

The JoeTools Scooter™ Head offers excellence in co-extrusion

processing with minimal costs. Its unique single-secondary

layer design allows the Scooter Head to attach to your existing

single-layer primary head, converting it to a co-extrusion

crosshead. This economical alternative for dual layer applica-

tions produces excellent results and is an ideal solution for

co-extruding PVC/nylon, regrind/virgin materials,

skin layers, among others.
