ALL SOULS DAY MASS REMEMBRANCE
On All Souls Day we honor all of our deceased loved ones in a special way. Here at St. Benilde Church we will be remembering your deceased loved ones both on this day with the celebration of Holy Mass (Saturday, November 2) and at all of the Masses throughout the month of November.
In that spirit, we invite you to inscribe the names of those you wish for us to remember and pray for on All Souls Day and during the Masses throughout the month of November on the special All Souls Remembrance
Envelopes found in the vestibule of the Church. Please place your envelopes in the collection basket, the poor box or bring them to the Parish Office by November 1. The suggested donation is $5 per name recorded on your envelope. If you are unable to make a donation, please still fill out an envelope. Mass remembrance envelopes will remain on the altar throughout the month of November and names will be printed in the Parish Bulletin.
Natural Family Planning Classes
With professional instruction, Natural Family Planning has proven itself to be safe, effective, and a moral way for couples to plan their families. It is a method which respects the meaning of human sexuality as God created it and thus marital love is enhanced and strengthened. This class series the Of ice of Marriage and Family Life is offering in the SymptoPro™ Method of Natural Family Planning will be conducted by Kelly Donahue of the Archdiocese of New Orleans. The dates of the class series are November 9, November 23, December 14, 2019, and January 11, 2020. All sessions will be held from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. The classes will be held at Most Holy Trinity Family Life Center, Room 6, in Covington. The cost is $100 and includes all classes and materials. Preregistration is required.
Eucharistic Adorers Needed For the past 10 years, we have been blessed to have Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration here at St. Benilde Parish. Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration is the adoration of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Eucharist. The Eucharist is displayed in a special holder called a monstrance, and people come to pray and worship Jesus continually throughout the day and the night. Come to our Perpetual Adoration Chapel and spend some time with our Lord. He is waiting there to embrace you, lovingly and mercifully! If you would like to become a committed adorer, please contact George Rojas at (504) 834-5525 or visit the parish website:

TORRENT OF GRACE An Evening of Worship
Featuring “Overshadow Me”
with Sean Tobin “Torrent of Grace,” an evening of prophetic praise featuring musician, songwriter and worship leader Sean Tobin will take place on Sunday, November 10, 7:30 pm, at St. Benilde cafeteria. The sole purpose of this gathering is to seek God, to worship and experience the presence of the Holy Spirit. Everyone is invited who desires to spend an evening with prophetic, Spirit-filled music and praise. At the Catholic Charismatic Conference last March, Sean Tobin ushered in what was termed a “visitation of the Holy Spirit” by singing his song “Overshadow Me.” There is no charge for the event but a love offering will be received. This event is hosted by Catholic Charismatic Renewal of New Orleans (CCRNO).
