Fax can be received as follows.- Each extension user has two DDI numbers for phone and fax. DDI number for fax is routed to mailbox for extension directly.

DDI number for phone is routed to extension and the call is redirected to mailbox by Fwd or Intercept.

Mailbox for extension (102:Mike)“Hello this is Mike, please leave voice message or send fax now”.

- Customer service works like above two DDI.

- Each extension has one DDI number for phone and fax. The call is redirected to mailbox for extension by Fwd or Intercept. One touch key [ T500#6 + Self Ext Number ] is useful to transfer fax to mailbox, when fax call is answered before Fwd or Intercept. T = Transfer 500 = Default VM number

- DDI number for company fax is routed to mailbox for operator.

Print out from application such as MS Word. Select Fax number to send.

You can send fax through KX-NS1000 without printing, when you have to contact your customer by fax. Some your customer may use only fax instead of e-mail.- One KX-NS1000 supports one channel to send or receive fax. Fax data is queued in KX-NS1000 to send fax from KX-NS1000 if channel is occupied. Automatic repeat feature of customers’ fax is useful to send fax to KX-NS1000.

- Fax driver for PC is provided by Panasonic.
