Abhyudaya 2017
The NSS unit of K. D. K. C. E. had actively
coordinated with Engineering India to make their
socio-technical event "ABHYUDAYA 17" a grand
success
This strengthens the bond between the N.S.S
committee of the college with socio-technical bodies
working throughout the vidarbha region such as the
"Engineering India".
The entire structure was designed for campaigning and
the coordinators were given their designations in
hierarchy. This helped the coordinators to function
smoothly and hassle free. The committee also
encouraged all the teaching staff to encourage the
students of their respective sections for their active
participation and also made them realize the
importance of such an event. The campaigning of this
started in the first week of January with all the support of the teachers and the students actively took up the initiative of campaigning on their own by
the end of January . The committee consisted of 90 active coordinators. The entire event comprised of Many socio - technical events such as comPPTion which was
basically a ppt presentation but the topics were related to the social causes and their
troubleshooting this way the student came up different ideas and presented it on a
bigger platform. The next event was
something very unique because probably
the first of its kind "Book Review" where
in the participants were given various
books related to various topics covering
social issues , technical, science related ,
fiction, non-fiction since language was not
a barrier to express the thoughts the books
were made available in all the three
different languages English , Hindi and
Marathi.
The next was also a very challenging and charismatic
event named " Man Ki Baat" where in the participants
can take up any social cause or problem and if they think
that they have got the solution for it or want to criticize
some happening around them they could express it
without any fear by giving speech , poetry or performing
drama or skit , song by making videos etc.
The were some conventional events such as the speech
competition where all were given the topics to speak
for about 5 min in the language they are comfortable
in . Then there was the graffiti competition in which
the participants had to carry their own painting
instruments and were provided with A3 drawing sheet
and stipulated time was alloted to them . The main event or the most attractive event was the "Ultimate Technocrat" this was the event
where the participants had to choose the topics alloted to them and accordingly choose a suitable
place to do the required observations and make a detailed report of their work and submit it .
This was a group event comprising of maximum 10 members this was the very event in which a
technocrat using his technical knowledge can solve
the problems of it's surroundings. In addition to these events two completely new
events were introduced and got a huge response as
well one of them was “manthan “ which was a event for bloggers first of its type and the other
was “ innovate “ for those technocrats who crave for success in their project works. To add more to the event an interactive session with
Shri J . Nandkumar he is an social activist, columnist
and all india sah. Prachar pramukh of rss. His
thought process and years of experience on field
motivated the students for the betterment of the
society and their contribution to the nation as a
technocrat so the topic of the session chosen was “ Is social media actually a mirror to society ?” such discussions experienced a huge response from the students as well.
The entire event was successful and marked another success . The N.S.S committee worked hand
in hand with all the coordinators and stood as the backbone of the event and made it a
memorable one as there were more than 700 participants from the KDKCE campus.
N. S. S. which is jointly led by Prof. T. R. Shelke (Programme Officer, N. S. S.) and Prof. A. P.
Fartode (Faculty Advisor, N. S. S.) , is National Service Scheme. This unit looks after all the
socio-technical activities held by the college. Recently, the N. S. S. Team has successfully participated in "Youth Day" programme which was
organized by the RTMNU in th D.N.C . The team marked its presence to celebrate the youth day
with great enthusiasm and also were enlightened by the speech delivered which motivated all to
follow the footsteps of the swami Vivekananda and move towards prosperity and bright future of
our mother nation.

information technology department with the help of the NSS team organized a campaign to
educate the people about the cashless transaction and how it is used. The volunteers took the
activity to the streets and interacted with all the people to know whether they knew about it or
not after the survey the volunteers taught them the use of BHIM app, they educated the people
who are not exposed to the technical background such as the barbers, auto-rickshaw drivers, the
road by stalls. The event stood very beneficial for the mob as the covered majority of the area
