Expressions Of Interest Riverina Indigenous Artwork Project INCENTIVE OPPORTUNITY Local Land Services reconciliation vision is to enrich, enhance and foster respectful relationships that create opportunities for First Nations peoples and other Australians to work and walk together toward reconciled, resilient communities in productive, healthy landscapes. Riverina Local Land Services is seeking Expressions Of Interest from local community groups and/or councils to partner with us to deliver an indigenous art project in the region. This project is designed to create a major First Nations peoples artwork that is significant to the community and assist in enhancing art and tourism in the region. To be eligible the artwork needs to be located in a highly visible location in the community that will promote and/or enhance tourism and must be within the Riverina Local Land Services region (see map on next page). Funding to the value of $10,000 is available for eligible community groups and/or councils to partner with Local Land Services in implementing a large scale artwork project in the local community. The $10,000 funding must be matched and make up a maximum of 50% of the total cost of the works. The funding can be used in conjunction with other government or non-government grants or investments. OUR MAIN PRIORITIES: To develop a large scale First Nations artwork that is significant to the local community; The location of the artwork should be in a prominent place within the community that draws and or promotes tourism in the region. (Locations could include but are not limited to silos, water towers and other buildings); The artwork be designed by and be significant to the local community; The artwork promote and be in line with Local Land Services vision for reconciliation To partner with Riverina Local Land Services in this exciting project we invite organisations to submit an Expressions of Interest (EOI). The EOI application can be found at www.lls.nsw.gov.au/riverina Applications are now open and close at 5pm on Thursday 26 September 2019. Following the closing date all EOIs will be assessed against the above priorities. Once assessed Local Land Services will work with the successful organisation/s to develop a succinct project plan and funding agreement, with monies made available following the execution of the agreement. Organisations applying for this incentive will be responsible for the planning and delivery of the artwork project and progress reports to Riverina Local Land Services.
