INTRODUCTION (GIST)

Teenagers are criticised of being unable to

contribute to their family and often, this arises to

arguments in the family, ruining the harmony of the

family.

Smooth running of the family refers to operating in

a flowing and effective manner, without difficulties

or obstructions within the family.

Teenagers are able to contribute in terms of

physically, psychologically and economically.

PEEL 1

Teenagers can contribute to the family by helping

out in the housework and relieving the workload of

their parents. Their parents might most likely be

tired after a whole day’s work and would be

unwilling to do the tedious chores. Teenagers, who

are often more free, are frequently requested to do

the chores, which similarly are detested by them

too. However, if teenagers are able to volunteer to

do the housework, there will be less friction in the

household as there would be less arguments over

the responsibility of doing chores.

PEEL 2

Teenagers are also able to contribute by doing well

in school. By doing well in school, they are greatly

reducing the amount of stress that parents have as

teachers would not have anything bad to report to

parents and parents would not have anything to

worry about. Most of the time, parents would argue

about their children’s results and their teaching

methods at home. Hence, if teenagers are to be

able to behave and do well in school, the chances

of parents arguing would be much lesser and the

house would be in harmony.

PEEL 3

Last but not least, teenagers can also contribute by

keeping themselves healthy. By maintaining their

health, parents would not have any additional worry

and would be able to save a large sum of money on

medical bills. Financial burden is one of the main

problem that lead to fights in the family.

Hence, teenagers can help to maintain the harmony

in the family by staying healthy.

family member, not just parents. Teenagers would

be achieve the harmony simply by contributing in

economically.
