Old Trafford
Old trafford is the stadium of the football club Manchester United.UEFA gave 5 stars to this stadium.Bobby Charlton called the stadium: The Theatre of Dreams
- First of all we will draw a little review of this fantastic stadium, how and when it's been built, how and why it evolved.- Then, we will focus on the installations which make the stadium to live everyday, even if there is no football match, like the megastore, the museum, the stadium tour with Bob the funny guide.- Finally, we will talk about the most famous part of the stadium, the part where de scene takes place every week end. The ground, and the stands.
The review of the stadium story
Manchester United club was founded in 1878, several years the club only played on stadiums in bad conditions. A rich local Brewer John Henry Davies decided to take over the club and he invested on building Old Trafford.
Old Trafford also hosted the 1966 FIFA World Cup and the Euro 1996.
• The Super League grand final of rugby has been played at Old Trafford every year since the introduction of the playoff system in 1998.
The hidden Old Trafford
There is in this stadium many installations which make it to live everyday.
The Megastore• It's the largest
football shop in England (1580m²)
• 1.3millions people come every year to visit it, and when Manchester United is playing visitors can be 2000 per days in the Megastore.
The stadium tour• In the museum of
the stadium, you can see all the trophies won by the club.
• All the shirts of Manchester are also exposed, like a book which explained the story of the Theatre of the Dreams.
The changing room• It is composed
by a bathroom with a spa and a dressing room with a big TV screen to watch the video of the game during the debriefing.
• The players come to the ground through the famous tunnel.It is the best moment for them when they listen the roar of the crowd.

• There is space for 76 212 spectators.• It has been given 5 stars rating by UEFA.• On 31 March 2007, Manchester United beat
Blackburn Rovers with 76 098 spectators. • It divided on 4 stands, the North, East, South and
West stands.
