On the Galvanized Iron (GI) pipes side, the company has five hot rolled tubes mills,

two hot rolled slitters and four fully automatic hot dipped galvanizing plants with a



capacity of 150,000 tons/ annum. The GI product range varies from ½² ~ 6² having a

thickness range from 1.80 ~ 6.00 mm.

A sizeable amount of Pakistan’s API Pipe demand is met by IIL with its 2², 4² and 6²

pipes. All API pipes are produced with inline seam annealing and hydro-testing and

under API License # 5L-0391.

IIL widened its portfolio of products in 2006 by installing three extrusion plants for

high and medium density Polyethylene pipes for Water, Gas and Duct Pipe; with

standard diameters ranging from 12mm ~ 250mm. In fact, IIL is the pioneer in the

manufacturing of PEX (Cross Linked) pipe in Pakistan, with standard diameters

ranging from 20 ~ 32 mm. The company is also manufacturing API polyethylene pipe

Nova Leathers (Pvt.) Ltd. was established in 1986 as a specialized tannery for making

all types of garment leathers. In 1989, the management decided to vertically integrate

The tannery unit is built on an area of 90,000 sq. ft. It employs about 250 skilled and

semi-skilled workers. Environment, being the most discussed issue these days, Nova

is one the first tanneries in Pakistan to install an in-house tannery effluent treatment



plant for the primary treatment of discharging water. This make the garments made

from our leather environment friendly.

The garment unit has a total covered area of about 65,000 sq. ft. and is one of the most

modern, efficient and biggest units in Karachi. We have more than 2000 skilled

workers and 1500 stitching machines besides button-hole, embroidery and embossing

machines. If required, then our stitching unit still has space for further expansion.

Nova is currently exporting 100% of its production. The main markets are Germany,

Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Hungry, U. K, France, The US and Korea.

Special care is taken at the time of appointing workers, in order to keep the literacy

level at a certain standard. According to the UN Convention (Article # 32.1) on the

rights of the Child, a person is a child until the age of 18. We recognize the right of
