Directions: You have been asked to organize a career fair for your school. You must invite at least five entrepreneurs to come to your school to discuss their careers. In order to generate a list of names, think about the products that you like and use, or places you enjoy such as restaurants or amusement parks. Make a list of these products or places and then research them on the Internet to see who created them. In your Internet research, be sure to gather as much information as you can to use as search criteria including nationality, ethnicity, gender, birth year, death year, birth place, and death place. Search for each person using the Biography Resource Center database. Then answer these questions. 1. List the names of the individuals you have chosen along with their businesses. 2. What are some of the products, or places, these individuals created? 3. Why would students be interested in hearing these people speak at your career fair? 4. After you have gathered this information, write a mock letter to your principal explaining

who you have chosen for your career fair and why you have chosen them. Refer to their biographies for specific examples of why students would be interested in hearing these people speak. Use a separate sheet of paper for your letter.
