The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) is a leading conservation charity which manages RZSS Edinburgh Zoo and RZSS Highland Wildlife Park. Our mission is to connect people with nature and safeguard species from extinction.

We are dedicated to protecting endangered species both here in Scotland and in over 20 countries across the world. Many of the species we work with – the Sumatran tiger or Dama gazelle for example – have fewer than 1,000 left in the wild. Without urgent action these animals could be lost forever.
