TRAINEE FEEDBACKS

“My   AIESEC   internship   in   Beijing   was   a   life/me   experience   which   I   will   be   treasuring   along   with   my  memories  and  friendships.  It  was  a  unique  opportunity  to  experience  a  completely  different  culture  than  my  own,  which  was  challenging  and  extremely  rewarding.  It  also  made  me  re-‐evaluate  many  things  in  my  life.  The  hos/ng  commi7ee  was  very  welcoming,  they  devoted  much  of  their  /me  with  us  and  I  would  like  to  men/on  that  on  many  occasions  they  spent  money  from  their  own  budget  in  order  to  be  by  our  side  during   these  7  weeks.   They  also  devoted  much  /me   fulfilling   the  much  necessary   transla/on  and  interpreta/on  tasks,  I  wholeheartedly  thank  them  all.  The  accommoda/on  was  excellent,  during  the  first  five  weeks  we  lived  in  an  apartment  far  be7er  than  the  original  expecta/on,  then  we  all  had  to  move  into  hos/ng  families  where  we  were  all  welcomed  and  taken  care  of  beyond  belief.  Leaving  them  behind  was  sorrowful  to  say  the  least.  I  would  also  want  to  men/on  that  all  of  my  nine  flatmates  were  extraordinary,  the   combina/on   of   people   and   personali/es  was   unmatched,   I   feel   like   I   have   a  member   of  my   own  family  in  each  of  those  countries.  My  tasks  regarding  my  job  there  were  various  due  to  the  mul/faceted  nature  of  the  project.   I  came  in  touch  with  several  people  from  various  backgrounds   in  China  and  they  contributed  to  me  being  a  different  and  hopefully  be7er  person.  I  will  be  missing  the  children  in  the  NGO  I   spent  /me   to,   and  every   single   individual   I  met  during  my  /me   in   this   ins/tu/on.  They  gave  me   the  mo/ve  to  try  harder  and  develop  a  be7er  understanding  for  the  weaker  and  less  privileged  members  of  our  society,  for  this  I  will  be  always  grateful.  No  doubt  I   leg  a  piece  of  me  behind  in  China,  and  I  thank  both  AIESEC  and  each  person  I  met  there  that  transformed  this  Summer  in  one  of  the  most  meaningful  experiences  of  my  life.”
