Hentsū was founded in London in October 2015 and in the last 2 years has expanded to New York, Boston and opened an office in Auckland for overnight support and Belgrade for R&D and data science.

BACKGROUND

Hentsū grew out of the need of asset managers to evolve beyond the traditional resource and capital heavy IT model, allowing managers to scale up or down, pivot strategies, and adapt to changing market opportunities at a moment’s notice – securely, efficiently, and on demand.

Marko Djukic CEO & Founder

Marko founded Hentsū in London 2015 to address the growing need for business and technological agility within the alternative investment industry. Marko has led the Hentsu expansion across 5 regions; scaling up to 65 staff to meet the global demand and nature of the industry. Marko’s vision for Hentsū is to drive agile transformation across financial services through public cloud technologies, SaaS and data science.

Prior to Hentsu, Marko led and managed technology for 8 years at a large quant hedge fund, which provided demanding first-hand challenges within the industry and how to solve them. Across all of his previous roles, Marko is known for his innovative approach and ability to push the envelope. He has a keen eye for identifying and implementing state-of-the-art solutions that will revolutionize the way financial services apply public cloud technology to their business.

Marko is CEO and Chairman of the board and currently residing in New York with his family. Marko enjoys Sunday rugby with his kids and motorbiking when weather permits.

SHAILASH SANGHRAJKA Chief Operating Officer

Shailash has over 20 years’ of experience in the Financial Services sector. As a technical Chief Operating Officer, Shailash is responsible for oversight on all operational areas of the business with additional focus on data driven analytics around the commercial performance and growth of the business. Shai-lash holds a MEng with Hons from Imperial College, London.

KAREN GRIFFITH Head of Managed Services

Karen has over 20 years’ experience in it consulting with a range of expertise in service design, implementation, delivery, managed and support services. Karen’s main passion and focus has been on infrastructure and cloud services, heading up and overseeing the global managed services team at Hentsū, delivering 24/7 support services.

Lisa has a number of years of experience in HR, and prior to focusing on the Cloud Technologies Industry, worked within the Charity Sector. Taking on the challenge of the Cloud, Lisa now heads up Human Resourcing for Hentsū globally.

CHRISTINE JOHNSON Head of Business Development

Christine has over 12 years of experience in the financial services sector of which more than half was spent in technology across start-ups and large investment banks. At Hentsū, Christine currently heads up the Global Business Development overseeing sales, marketing and strategic partnerships.

EWELINA OBRZUT Head of Professional Services

Ewelina has over 15 years of experience in IT Portfolio, Programme and Project Management across various sectors. At Hentsu, Ewelina provides leadership to teams responsible for scoping and delivery of projects ensuring they are commer-cially robust and setup to ensure client goals and expectations are met.

DES HOLMES Chief Technology Officer

A Technical Director with 20+ years of experience, managing teams, building complex enterprise solutions and full stack software applications. Des is still a coder at heart and lives and breathes the devops mentality, from agile methodologies and continuously integrated delivery pipelines. Des now runs our data science and application development at Hentsu.
