    Title- experiencing life in Lake Elliott

    A group of activities combined in a row fill up our twenty four hours and complete one day.

    Similarly, a row of 365 days combine together in a line to make our one year and years

    combine together to make a whole life for us. This is our community that provides us a

    complete list of activities and we choose from them to make our life and living. Lake Elliott

    has produced many men of high caliber and recognition. For example, hockey players like

    Rick Brebant, Zack Stortini, Jeremy Stevenson, Doug McEwen, Alex Henry, weightlifter likes

    Christine Girard and a very famous writer like Catherine Dixon.

    Lake Elliott can be better understood if it is analyzed by different perspectives and facilities

    of life. It can be started with its history and then talking about its environment and

    geography, transportation, culture, art, education standard, tourist attraction, media, it canbe ended with sports. By knowing about these aspects of Lake Elliott, the life and the ways

    of life in Lake Elliott can be understood properly.

    Lake Elliott saw a new dawn when in 1955 when a small town of Ojibwa was changed to

    planned community in order to facilitate mining industry and there were uranium mines

    recently discovered in the area. The name Lake Elliott was derived from the name of the

    lake that passes through nearby.

    It is present on the Canadian Shield, which makes it present in the middle of dense jungles,

    numerous lakes, muskeg swamps and Precambrian bedrock hills. Ham commission has been

    made over there to cover up any chances of side effects of uranium and this place available

    for every living.

    Its main highway connects it with highway 108, from where it is 30 km away from highway

    17, the other name for the road is trans Canada highway. Its airport does not have any

    scheduled flights however Lake Elliott bus service provides a service after one hour with the

    exception of Sunday.

    Tom Connors shot video for a song here in 1975 that is about the mining culture in the Lake

    Elliott. Moreover, Alistair MacLeod wrote a novel with the settings of Lake Elliott. There is

    also a nuclear museum and community monument. It is best known for cultural festival.

    There are some places that are usually most attractive one for tourists. These places include

    the Lake Elliott fire, nuclear & mining museum, Canadian Mining Hall of Fame and Mount

    Dufour.

    Its main schools include Villa Franoise des jeunes and secondary school while the schools

    for adults and post secondary education include White Mountain Arts Academy, Boreal

    College and Sault College.

    Main sports include hockey, baseball, softball, soccer and swimming. Each of these sports

    maintains a number of independent and dependent clubs.

    Lake Elliott does not own any local TV stations. However, being very close to Sudbury it can

    be called included in that where channels like CTV CBC SRC etc are available. This city owns

    a radio station moreover it has also a main city newspaper.

    All these above mentioned traits and aspects of Lake Elliott city life provide a brief view

    about how the life will be in the this city and how much experience will we get while

    experiencing life in Lake Elliott.
