of our God back to us, for we did not inquire of it during thereign of Saul.´ (1 Chronicles 13: 3).

We must see again how awful God is. How beautiful and how perfect. And we must begin to  preach it, sing it, write about it,

promote it, talk it, tell it and  pray it until we have recapture theconcept of majesty, until the awareness of the divine is back in

our Church again, until we regained the ability and desire toretire within our own heart and worship God in the silence of our

own spirits.I am praying that God will use this course to radically

touch your life for the Kingdom sake. His work in your life willfar surpass all your plans and dreams. He will bring purposes

and fulfilment to your life and ministry with overflowing joy inspite of trials and problems that you had been experiencing and

also at the end of this course you might be encountered God, in anew level of experiences that you have been never experience

 before.

Introduction

In my obscure understanding couple with my

experiences being in God¶s presence, the Lord impress to me toshare this truth of God and revelation of God to the next

generation leaders. There is a difference between truth of Godand revelation of God. The truth is where God¶s been.

Revelation is where God is. Truth is God¶s way. It leads to Him.These lessons, it will leads to the students on how to understand

and experience God¶s manifest presence base on the Scriptures.I¶d tried my best that the material should be theologically

balance and scholarly done. However there are some of the ideasand experiences barrowed from many theologians who have

been in the presence of God. It¶s my heart desire to share andteach these lessons in the body of Christ, because the priority of

God¶s presence has been lost and need to be revived. We¶re like

(Ex. 34:29-35). Whatever or whoever is exposed to themanifested presence of God begins to absorb the very material

matter of God.When God begins to visit in a place or among a people,

unusual things start happening simply because He is there. Jacobfor instance (Gen. 35:1-3). At one point, God told him to go

back to Bethel, meaning ³house of God,´ and Jacob essentiallytold his family members, ³if we can just get back to Bethel, I¶ll

build an altar to God and we¶ll be all right´. He knew there was alingering presence of God at Bethel. The manifest presence of

God often lingers in a place even when no one else is around. The Word of God tells us that the veil of division was

torn in two by Jesus Christ¶s death on Calvary, and that we havefree entry into God¶s presence through the blood of Jesus Christ.

When the glory of God comes, we become like the prophetIsaiah. Our flesh is so weakened by His presence that it is

unnecessary for man to do anything other than behold Him inHis glory. God is not coming to people who merely seek His

benefits. He¶s coming to people who seek His Face. In the OldTestament, when a person refused to show his face, he was

deliberately turning away from you. The only way He will turnHis visitation in revival into habitation for life is if you and I will

prepare a place for Him with tears and repentance, because thenHe will no longer be found to wink at our ignorance. If you seek

His face, what you get is His favour. We have long enjoyed theomnipresence of God, but now we are experiencing brief

moments of visitation by His manifest presence. It becauseevery hair to stand up on end and it makes demonic forces flees

and run. There is nothing wrong with our personal experiences

about the manifest presence of God, provided that their would be a Scriptural basis or explanation about that. Theologically,

your personal experiences primarily must be based on the Word

of God rather than on mere human view. In this subject, let¶stried to do our best with God¶s help that our study should be

Biblically sound.

LESSON 1 Intimacy with God.

³And the very God of Peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God  your whole spirit and soul and Body be preserved blameless

unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.´ I Thessalonians5:23.

Paul teaches us here that we humans are tripartite beings. That

is, we have three separate parts ± the body, the soul (which is our conscious intellect, will, and emotions), and the spirit. He

plainly states that all three must be cleansed and committed toJesus himself must enable us to keep all three parts ³blameless´

until His return.

The Bible says, Gen. 2:7 ³... The Lord God formed man of thedust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of

life; and man became a living soul.´

That is, Adam lived, and became aware of himself. In essenceour self is our soul which manifest in our mind, our will, and our

emotions.³... There is a natural body and there is a s piritual body.´

This is a much overlooked verse. Our spirits have a form or

shape, a body corresponding to our physical body.

FIGUR E A.

These are the typical example of  the Total form of  human

being created by God.

³I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether inthe body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell:

God knoweth ;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I

cannot tell: God knoweth ;) How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful

 for a man to utter.´ ( 2Corinthians 12:2-4 ).

³After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven:and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet

talking with me; which said, come up hither, and I will shew theethings which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the

spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat onthe throne.´ (  Rev. 4:1-2 )

These scriptures and others show an experience perceived in the

person¶s spirit, and that the spirit body was separated from the physical body. Notice that when John stated that he was in the

³spirit´ that it is spelled with a small ³s´ signifying his ownhuman spirit. Every time the Holy Spirit is referred to in

scripture it is spelled with capital ³S´ as in

Revelation 1:10: ³I was in the Spirit on the Lord¶s Day, and

heard behind me a great voice, as a trumpet«´

³For the Word of God is quick, and power, and sharper thanany two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of

 soul and spirit, Hebrews 4:12

Did you ever wonder why it is necessary to divide between our soul and spirit? According to the above verse there can be a

division made (or separation of) the soul and the spirit; thematerial and immaterial being created by God, and need to be

aware of carefully about the totality of human form before andafter the fall of man.

The first Adam, before the fall, could relate to, and see the spirit

world as easily as he could the physical world. How by the useof his spiritual body. This is demonstrated by the ease with

which he could walk and talk with God intimately in the Gardenof Eden. He had a consciousness awareness of his physical

body. His soul (consciousness intellect and will) controlled bothhis spiritual and physical bodies. But, at the fall, spiritual death

took place ± that is, Adam and his descendants were no longer consciously aware of their spiritual body, and thus could not

commune with the Lord as he had once done. In others wordstheir intimate relationship was lost.

As the Holy Spirit comes in at rebirth when we accept Jesus asour Lord and Savior, our spiritual body is re-born, or

rejuvenated so that we can commune with and worship the Lordas Adam did before the fall. Indeed, it was God alone who took

an initiative to draw closer to man, and He said, ³Where are youAdam? Because of shameful deeds of man tried to hide himself

from the presence of God. However because of God¶s grace, man could be able to draw nearer to God again, and commune

with Him. Instead of praying come near oh, Lord, we canreverse it; I draw nearer to you oh Lord, because of your Son

Jesus Christ. In fact it is though our human spirit that we cancommune with God (with the help of the Holy Spirit) is clearly

demonstrated in the following verse:

³[Jesus is speaking] but the hour cometh, and now is, when thetrue worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth:

for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.´

 John 4:23-24

Please take note in these two verses that when God is referred toas being a ³ Spirit´ the word is spelled with a capital ³S´

However, the human spirit is clearly differentiated by spelling itwith a small ³s´ Therefore, only a spirit can commune with the

spirit world, in this case, worshiping God the Father who is aSpirit.

Firstly, what does it mean to anoint , the anointing or to beanointed ? There are many Hebrew and Greek words in relation

to anointing . But for the sake of study, I will only mention afew.

 Anoint:

-Hebrew - verb

Meshach: To rub with oil, to consecrate and to paint.Cake: Pronounce 'souk': To smear over.

-Greek  Murizoz: To apply (unguent).

The Basic meaning of the word anoint is simply to smear

something on an object. Usually oil is involved, but it could be

other substances such as paint or dye. This gives the idea that to

anoint something or someone is an act of consecration.

-Hebrew - noun Mashyach: 'anointed one' one who is consecrated for a specialoffice or f unction.

In simple terms, the anointing is the presence of the Holy S  pirit

being smeared u pon someone. It is the overflowing life of Jesuswhich imparts supernatural strength enabling an individual to

perform a special task or function in an office he is called and

appointed to.

I had an experienced, during ministering for the needy, I  felt another person hovering me.

In ancient times, God would anoint an individual to function

effectively to a particular office. For example, He would choosea person and anoint him to stand in the office of a  pro phet . He

would choose another and anoint him to stand in the office of a

priest . He would choose still another one and anoint him to

stand in the office of a king.

David, God's chosen one, had the anointing of a king  , a pro phet  and also a  priest.

6.  David as k ing -

" Arise, anoint him..."

1 Samuel 16 " 12

7.  David as prophet -

"...The spirit of the Lord spoke by me..." 2 Samuel 23:2

8 .   David as priest -

"...And David built there an altar to the Lord, and offered burnt

offerings and peace offerings..." 2 Samuel 24:25

These offices were also combined in Christ the Messiah and for

the spirit-filled church.

To remind you and I tell you that there is a price to pay to carry a

Both words "thrown together" denote an object used to represent something else. An emblem is the use of one thing to represent another. Therefore, oil i

Can you trust Him with the other half  of  the story?I wonder if God ever tests our faith like He did Philip¶s. Does He say, ³Feed the multitudes´

And our church responds, ³Our budget couldn¶t do it´? Suppose God says to your Church, ³Take the Gospel to the whole world!´ and the group says, we can¶t.´ Truth stands in the middle of that church, as tI will never give you an order that I will not myself release my power to enable it to happen. Trust Me and obey Me and it will happen.´

Elijah was outnumbered 850 to 1. If God had not displayed His own by coming in fire and consuming the sacrifice as Elijah had proposed, Elijah would

cost him his life. Elijah repaired the altar of the Lord. He had to stay with God and do everything God commanded him to do. He was acting in obediencinitiative. He went where God told him, when God told him, and did what God told him. Then God accomplished His own purposes through him. Elija

true God. That is exactly how the people responded.

Did Elijah or God bring the fire from Heaven? God did. What was Elijah doing? Being obedient. Elijah had no ability to do what God was about to doall the people knew that He was the true God. And, God did it through His obedient servant.

Reflection Time:

1.  Will there be a difference between the quality of service and the quantity of lasting results when God is working and when you are working?

 ________________________________________________________________________

2.  What are you doing in your life personally and in your Church that you know cannot be accomplished unless God intervenes? Could much of churches be done without reference to God at all?

Christians are becoming more and more disoriented to the Bible as a guide for faith and practice.

Because Christians have become disoriented to the Bible, they turn to worldly solution, programs, and methods that appear to be the answer to spirituto what we should be doing. Some people says ³Danny that is not practical.´ They want to move me away from the Bible and rely on the world¶s way
