WADI BANI KHALED

Wadi Bani Khaled is located in the Tiwi part of Sur located in the Sharkiya Governorate. The water travels from the mountain peaks down to the sea, because of which many caves form in this wadi. Famous water springs like Ain Hamouda, Ain al Surooj and Ain Dawwa are part of its region. Tourists are allowed to swim in the water of this fresh water spring and enjoy themselves.

WADI SHAB

Wadi Shab is another famous wadi of Oman and is considered to be its most beautiful valley. This wadi consists of seven pools of green water where tourists can swim and have fun in the water. It also has a cave whose insides glow in the dark. About seven kilometers from this valley, Wadi Tiwi starts where groves of date palm and orchids of fruit tree grow.

WADI ABYADAH

Wadi Abyadah lies in the Al Batinah area and is the most popular wadi of the region. The wadi is located about thirty kilometers from the Muscat-Sohar highway. You can travel to this wadi in a 4WD vehicle and enjoy the unique white boulders over which the wadi is named. Another of its unique features are its pink trees and rare birds that inhabit them.

WADI DHAIQA

Wadi Dhaiqah is located in the great canyon about 90 kilometers to the east of Bait Hattat; about one hundred and twenty wadis lead to this place that extends from Wilayat Dia W’attayyeen in the Sharqiyah area to the Wilayat of Qurayyat in the Governorate of Muscat. This wadi is easily accessible to tourists who visit Oman and is considered to be a natural park. The wadi gains its name from the fact that as you travel along it, some places become increasingly narrow and close up with huge, high cliffs.
