Show Management will strictly enforce proper booth presentation. Your show sales representative, along with Show Management, will review all booth installations during the set-up period and will notify exhibitors of any required changes.

Changes may include reducing the number of artworks hung on display, rehanging particular pieces to meet our standards, or moving sculptures or furniture so that they are within your booth. We expect all exhibitors to be courteous and responsive when asked to make changes.

• All displayed artwork must be matted, framed, gallery-wrapped or otherwise mounted. Framed works must have a wire or other means of hanging. Artwork cannot be taped or tacked to the wall.

• Every piece of art must be labeled with its title, retail price, and the artist’s name.

• Each exhibitor is required to install and remove their artwork in the exhibit on the scheduled day and time.

• Each exhibitor is responsible for providing all of the necessary hanging supplies (e.g., hanging wire, picture hooks, hammers, ladders, and personnel for the installation and the removal of the exhibit).

• We do not permit the use of screws or “bare” nails to hang art. We require the use of standard picture hooks. Exhibitors are required to remove all labels, decals, screws, hooks, hangers, or other installation materials at the completion of the show to avoid labor charges.

• All paintings, framed artworks on paper, and other framed art should be hung in a single row on the wall with proper spacing. Double-hanging of work is acceptable only in certain cases, such as when placing a unique series by the same artist or creating a specific installation with multiple works, and must be pre-approved by Show Management (see photo examples).

• Excessive or overcrowding of art on the walls is not permitted. Artwork may only cover up to 70 percent of your wall space. Thirty percent of the blank wall should be exposed. Overhanging of the booth space is not permitted.

• Show Management reserves the right to remove art or anything from the show should it be professionally inappropriate, offensive in nature, or discriminatory.

• All artwork displayed must hang on the walls. Artwork may not, at any time, be stacked against the walls, on the floor, or on tabletops in your booth as a form of open storage.

• Sculptures, multidimensional work, and artwork hung on booth walls must remain within the assigned booth and wall space at all times.

• All sculptures should be placed on proper pedestals, not makeshift pedestals covered in cloth.

• Video monitor installations are not permitted on the outside walls of booths or positioned on any outside wall or aisle without prior approval from Show Management. If approved, a cord channel must be used to cover the electrical wire. Additionally, no cord from a monitor or artwork can run from inside the booth around to outside walls. Further, artwork requiring electrical power that is installed on outside wall must have a dedicated power drop.

• Exhibits can not exceed the height of the hard walls. Show management reserves the right to remove (at exhibitor’s expense) any display materials above the height limitation if advance written approval has not been obtained.

• We encourage you to plan ahead and bring only enough artwork to display in your booth.•If space allows, we recommend that a closet is incorporated into the design of the booth to maintain a neat exhibition space and to store extra artwork and personal items. Bins, racks, or other art storage displays and equipment could then be placed in the closet, as they may not be visible in the booth.

• If there is no closet space, the exhibitor must make a plan for storing extra works.

• Per the fire marshal, there is absolutely no storage of art or empty crates and boxes behind walls.

• Personal items should be minimized and stored under the booth table or in booth furniture.

• All additional booth furniture, outside of the standard package provided by the show, must be approved by Show Management. We encourage the use of the Specialty Furniture Catalog when selecting enhanced furniture for your booth.

• Portfolios to be shown in the booth must be neatly organized and covered in a fashionable way and must be pre-approved by Show Management.

• We expect that books, catalogs, and other paperwork be kept neatly on top of desks and tables, not piled on the floor. Cords from computers and other devices must be neatly hidden and taped down.

• We ask that you refrain from eating meals or large quantities of food in your booth. Please don’t bring food into the booth to eat later. All food papers, bottles, etc., must be disposed of correctly, not left strewn on booth furniture.

• All artist signings of books or posters in the booth must be pre-approved by Show Management.

• All booths receive an exterior blade sign as part of the booth package. Interior signage is the responsibility of the exhibitor. Exhibitor and artist signage inside your space should not be excessive in size and must comply with show standard:

• Letters for ready-to-apply decals cannot be taller than 6” or longer than 36”.

• Exhibitor name signage can only be applied to the inside center back wall of the booth or center of the display wall and must be removed at the close of the show.

• Gallery exhibitors may apply artist name signage adjacent to the artist’s artwork. It, too, must be removed at the close of the show.

• Handwritten or hand-drawn signage is not permitted.

• We will be happy to review your signage plans prior to the show. We can also refer you to a local supplier if needed.

• All artwork must be properly and professionally identified with TAPS signage.• TAPS: Title, Artist, Price, Size

• Individual artwork signage should be no larger than 3” by 5”.

• Use of red-colored dots for sold artwork is acceptable. They should be no larger than ½” in size, and they should be placed on the TAPS signage.

Exhibitors are responsible for submitting their Booth Design

Forms and ordering from Redwood Media Group and the

show the appropriate number of walls, electrical outlets, and

lighting beyond the standard package offered to ensure that

their booth is displayed and lit properly (inside and outside if

outside walls are part of your space).

Each artwork or artwork grouping should have a minimum of one direct light source.

All booths must be lit with lighting provided by Redwood Media Group and the show.

We do not allow exhibitors to use their own lighting.

If there are any issues with your lighting, electrical outlets, walls, etc., you must notify us immediately so that we are able to address the issue. If we do not receive a notification within 24 hours, then we will not be able to fix the problem nor provide a refund for any non-working items.

Exhibitors must be “show ready” no later than 10 a.m. Thursday, April 4. “Show ready” means that all freight must be removed from the show floor, all packing materials must be stored or relinquished, and installation of all artwork must be completed.

This is where it can be most easily seen and most thoroughly enjoyed. The only decision is: standing eye level or sitting?

With oversized matting and exaggerated proportions, you can transform a small piece of art into a dramatic decorating statement.

To create a modern art gallery feel, give each piece ample breathing room. Stand at the center of the first piece, and take one swift or two small steps

along the wall. This is a good center for the next piece.

Tightly group an even number of pieces together to give a statement or a focal point. This works on either large or small wall spaces, depending on

the look you want.

Placing an odd number of pieces in a horizontal line gives balance and the sense of space. This works well in narrow passageways within your booth

space.
