WELCOME TO EMS2021 IN SCOTLAND

On behalf of the European EMS Leadership Network, I have the pleasure of inviting you to be an active part of the EMS2021 congress which will be held in Glasgow, Scotland 19-21 April 2021!

EMS2021 will build on the legacy of previous congresses in Copenhagen and Madrid, with the characteristic blend of high quality scientific and research presentations mixed with an international perspective on current and emerging issues and of course a great sense of networking and fun. We will provide a unique Scottish perspective while retaining the international dimension so important for the EMS Congresses.

2021 is a watershed year for EMS in Scotland as it marks the realisation of the Scottish Ambulance Service’s 2021 Strategy and also the landmark point for Scotland’s unique national Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest Strategy. We in Scotland are keen to share our learning with international partners. This supports the main objective of EMS2021 which is to drive forward excellence in emergency care by learning and sharing together.

The European EMS Leadership Network recognises and strongly values partnership and collaborative working within the EMS community. As such we aim at creating a fantastic scientific program, a wide range of exhibitors and sponsors, hands-on clinical workshops of the highest quality, an EMS competition like no other and a social pro-gramme that maximizes all that Glasgow has to offer. All of this in a campus environ-ment in the heart of Glasgow - one of Europe’s premier destinations.

WHO ATTENDS: QUICK FACTS

The first four European Emergency Medical Services Congresses in Copenhagen and Madrid was extremely successful and has brought together between 900 – 1,400 physicians, nurses, paramedics, EMS leaders, and managers in the area of emergency medical service and pre-hospital care from 57 countries around the world.

94% of our participants want to return year after year to be part of the interactive, hands-on and high-quality scientific program as well as the social interaction with col-leagues from across the world. The expectation is that 1,500 participants will attend EMS2021.

We highly appreciate and are proud of the hands-on atmosphere that the European EMS Congress have been able to establish as one of its trademarks. This also applies to the exhibition area where exhibitors are encouraged to make their stands interactive with a focus on learning and discussion.

EMS2021 is expected to attract about 1,500 participants from all over the world. As a sponsor you will have excel-lent opportunities to promote your latest products and services and interact with participants.

The sponsor packages can be tailored to suit your needs and style. Additional exhibition space can be purchased for EUR 500 per square meters. Additional exhibitors can register for EUR 300.

All prices are expressed in EUR and are exclusive of VAT.

EXHIBITION

The exhibition will be a focal point of the congress. The programme is structured to op-timize the opportunity for the participants to visit the exhibition and interact with you as an exhibitor and/or sponsor. The congress offers exhibition stands conveniently located next to the session rooms. Coffee and lunch are served in the exhibition area.

The standard stand size is 9 square metres and the standard rental fee is EUR 6,750 ex VAT.The minimum stand size is 4 square metres and the minimum rental fee is EUR 3,000 ex VAT. Additional exhibition space can be purchased for EUR 500 per square metre ex VAT. Additional exhibitor registrations can be purchased for EUR 300 ex VAT.

All exhibitors and sponsors receive a number of free registrations.

One full registration entails: • Free access to all sessions• Free access to the exhibition area • Free lunches, snacks and coffee during breaks

The stand rental includes: • Floor space • Electricity • Company name in exhibitor lists on the congress website • Logo exposure in the congress app• Participation in the scavenger hunt (QR code on stand)• Wi-Fi• Registration for the congress (1 person per 4 square metres).

Showcasing ambulances and other EMS vehicles is possible in the exhibition area. The price for a European size ambulance is EUR 6,000 ex VAT.

Your company’s contribution to EMS2021 is paramount to its success! As organisers, we are here to help you become a partner and to ensure that you maximize your investment. TERMS OF PAYMENT FOR SPONSORSHIPS AND EXHIBITION SPACE

TERMS OF PAYMENT FOR SPONSORSHIPS AND EXHIBITION SPACEThe total exhibition and sponsorship fee will be invoiced once the contract has been signed. Unless otherwise stated in the contact, the total amount is due upon receipt of the invoice. No sponsor/ exhibitor will be allowed access to their exhibition stand for build-up if EMS2021 has not received the total stand rental.

Payments can be made in EUR through bank transfer (detailed information will be informed on invoice). Please put “EMS2021” and invoice number in the reference, and make sure that there will be no costs to the beneficiary.

VAT must be paid as invoiced. Request for refunds should be addressed to the Exhibi-tor’s national VAT Authorities.

We reserve the right to increase the stand rent insofar as, and to the extent to which taxes, VAT or other charges (including purchase tax or the like) according to law is imposed on exhibition material and/or stand rental.

CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellations and following refund will not be applicable.

CMEAn application for accreditation of EMS2021 will be sent to EACCME. Advertisement during EMS2021 is subject to the criteria from EACCME, Art. 34, 54 and 55 of UEMS 2012/30 Instructions regarding event material such as announcements, posters, pro-gramme, websites etc.

ETHICALMEDTECHEthicalMedTech works to ensure that all congresses in the medical field are dedicated to ethics and compliance and that they comply with both the EthicalMedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business Practice and the Mecomed Code of Business Practice.

An application for accreditation of EMS2021 will be submitted to EthicalMedTech as soon as the program draft is ready.

PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL Please note that brochures and sales materials are appreciated in the stands but not in the session rooms, poster area, and corridors.

Exhibitors have the freedom to install company posters in or behind their stands and of course to display sales materials on their stand and interact with congress participants.

Announcements of coming events can be placed at the discretion of the registration desk as long as space is deemed available by the registration staff.
