For the first edition of Microwave & RF,around ten companies from the westof France were present on the MEITOstage. All the radio frequency and mi-crowave specialists from the western re-gion of France - whether involved inR&D, subcontracting or selling their ownproducts - were satisfied not only with thenumber and quality of contacts over the threedays, but also with the organiser's professionalism and availability. This reinforces the validity of Microwave & RF's existence: a specialised and highly targeted trade show, aplace for the community's experts to meet. The wireless world is one of the western region's strong points.MEITO is ready and eager to represent this excellence at the 2013 Microwave & RF trade show.MEITO - Mission for the Electronic, IT and Telecommunications in the West of France.

Main Topics of the 2012 conference programme:• New technologies and design methods for RF and Microwave antennas.• The GaN market in defence applications/Applications for high power microwave transmitters - The GaN industrial field in Europe - GaN for commutation - Advanced GaN Technologies - characterization/modelling methods. Digital military communications applications. GaN in radar applications. GaN in spatial applications.• EMC: New perspectives on measurements in reverberation rooms. EMC and microwave simulation. EMC in military systems. Biological effects of EM fields and regulation.• Technological trends in RF and Microwave, and perspectives on fields of use.

In 2013Six lectures will provide an update on technical or technological developments (EMC, Antennas, GaN, Instrumentation etc).

2012 was the year MICROWAVE & RF was created and launched. This new event is dedicated to the microwaves,radiofrequencies, wireless and fibre optic community.The first edition met the expectations of the 89 exhibitors for a targeted and friendly event.The series of six complementary lectures on highly specialised topics welcomed 521 attendees. They helped address technological and technical developments in the areas of Antennas, EMC, GaN, Microelectronics, Instrumentation, and Applications in Transportation (Aerospace and Automotive).This event attracted 2347 visitors: mostly highly skilled engineers, project managers, directors and serviceheads from R & D services, sales management and general management.

The Microwave & RF internet site:This provides visitors with all the up-to-date information they need whenpreparing their visit (list of exhibitors, conference programme, badge re-quest, exhibition map, etc.).

The Catalogue :The catalogue, which is distributed free of charge to all visitors on arrival,is an essential tool which visitors will want to keep on hand throughoutthe year.
