My cars exhaust system and been grinded away as I drive.

I have my car lowered a couple of inches and that has caused some clearance problems in some areas that I drive.

After a couple of months of driving the mid pipe for my exhaust system has been

grinded down almost in half.

Causing the car to become very loud and sound very badly.

I did manage to get the exhaust fixed temporarily by putting a normal pipe where

the mid pipes use to be.

The car is now a lot quieter but it still has a bad tone to the exhaust.

The exhaust of a car is essential it helps with emissions and actually helps the engine run

better.

The exhaust gives the engine some backpressure to keep the car running right

especially if you have a forced induction engine.

Without an exhaust the car can start to run rich or poorly, so it is a good idea to have a

proper exhaust on your car at all times.

Factory Exhaust Systems

The system that comes on the car from the factory is designed to keep the car as quiet as possible and to keep emissions as low as

possible as well.

This factory system is fine for the average person, but for people you want to modify their cars the factory system will have to be

replaced.

Performance Exhaust Systems

A performance exhaust system is a nice addition to anyone who would like to

increase the output of their car.

If you have modified your engine at all a performance level exhaust is a necessity.

There are many different types of systems that range in different sizes.

Exhaust Systems, Which Should I Choose

You should only need a new exhaust system if there is a problem with your current one

or if you really want a new one.

Honestly, it is really up to you to decide which system you would want to go with if

you need to replace your current one.

Just remember you can get a performance one, but it will probably cost you more than

a factory one.

The factory one can still be expensive if you buy it from a dealership.

There are many alternatives that you can get from just about any auto parts store that

are much cheaper.
