APPLICATIONS
- Unlike vessels with a mono hull, DMB vessels can be expanded or modified in set-up later on
- A DMB constructed vessel can be transported by truck, boat, airplane and train, due to its container sized modules
WHY THE DMB?

- A DMB constructed vessel can be transported to even the most remote areas
- A DMB constructed vessel is ideal for (temporary) projects, since the vessel can be easily transported from project site to project site

- The DMB requires no mechanic inside the pontoon during coupling- The coupling is 100% rigid- The DMB is CSC* approved- The DMB can be used in any sea, lake or river- The DMB can be assembled afloat*CSC = Convention for Safety Containers; Container Certificate Scheme 2007, CSC and ISO 1496-1

The modular concept has inspired Damen to develop a Damen Modular Dock (DMD)
The design of the DMD makes it possible to start with a dock of 40m and enlarge this up to a maximum length of 110m.
