Big data promises huge opportunities, but adopting big data is not a simple task. A company needs to overcome challenges and obstacles before �nally capitalising on the bene�ts of big data.

Dr Peter Kwan, Co-founder of Big Data Architect Ltd

Dr Kwan graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1981. A year after his graduation, he set up his �rst computer company supplying a range of computer products to famous electronic chain stores. In 1985, Peter founded Expert System Company Ltd, carrying products of renowned brands like IBM, HP, Compaq, AST, Cisco, Oracle, Microsoft, and Lotus Notes. He then started developing consultancy and training services for big data analytics in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, and Mainland China. In 2013, he co-founded Big Data Architect Ltd and set up Big Data Academy in 2015 specialising in providing big data trainings for di�erent business models and applications to both executives and technical specialists.

B. Cancellation Policy HKIHRM reserves the rights to replace the speaker and/or cancel or alter, content, timing, and venue of the event, as well as to reject
