Histor y of Fennes

Fennes, the first of the prestigious Tabor Group venues, was home to company Chairman Ned Tabor’s family for over 400 years.

In 1995, the decision was made to transform the manor house into a dedicated wedding venue – becoming the second property in the county to obtain a license to hold civil ceremonies.

Set in 100 acres of tranquil North Essex countryside, Fennes now comprises the original manor house, two adjoining silk-lined pavilions and beautiful, landscaped gardens – all available on an exclusive-use basis, for weddings and a variety of other occasions for up to 700 guests.
