Travelling to the showThe Business Design Centre is located in

Islington, in the north of London. It is a vibrant and dynamic area of the capital and offers a great selection of restaurants, shops, bars and cafes – all within easy walking distance of the venue!

The Business Design Centre itself has a stunning vaulted roof and a

contemporary feel, despite its longevity. This means plenty of natural light over the

show floor which lends itself perfectly to the display of the best of UK housewares and small appliances.

The venue is five minutes’ walk from the Angel underground station on the Northern Line, which in turn is only a short tube ride away from the Euston and Kings Cross mainline stations. Although we recommend you travel to the Exclusively shows wherever possible by public transport, there are 200 paid for spaces in the car park alongside the Business Design Centre and limited additional capacity in the area.

Welcome to our 14th Exclusively Housewares show!We are delighted to report, once again, that the show is absolutely filled to the brim with a fantastic selection of key housewares suppliers from across the industry - if you buy housewares there really is no other place to be able to see and meet such a focused line-up under one roof!

As all our regular visitors will know this year also sees the launch of our new sister show Exclusively Electrical, edited with small electricals buyers in mind. You’ll find more information on this when you turn to the other end of this Preview.

Also new this year are our two show ‘trails’ - look out for two symbols displayed around the shows, our Christmas icon and ‘On Trend’ icon.

The Christmas icon will highlight products suitable for the festive season - not just gifts, but all sorts of ideas to help your customers prepare for extra guests, extra cooking duties and entertaining over the Christmas

period. There are plenty of deals on offer, so now is the perfect time to do your Christmas shopping - order now in time for October delivery!

And secondly, look out for our ‘On Trend’ icon - all of the products marked with this symbol have been identified by the trend forecasting agency Scarlet Opus as being ‘on trend’ for Christmas 2015 and/or spring

summer 2016. The trail will give you the opportunity to benefit from their forecasting skills and hopefully will highlight some new ideas to help with your future orders.

Travelling to the showThe Business Design Centre is located in

Islington, in the north of London. It is a vibrant and dynamic area of the capital and offers a great selection of restaurants, shops, bars and cafes – all within easy walking distance of the venue!

The Business Design Centre itself has a stunning vaulted roof and a

contemporary feel, despite its longevity. This means plenty of natural light over the

show floor which lends itself perfectly to the display of the best of UK housewares and small appliances.

The venue is five minutes’ walk from the Angel underground station on the Northern Line, which in turn is only a short tube ride away from the Euston and Kings Cross mainline stations. Although we recommend you travel to the Exclusively shows wherever possible by public transport, there are 200 paid for spaces in the car park alongside the Business Design Centre and limited additional capacity in the area.

Free market updates availableIf you are intending to visit on Wednesday, June 10 do take advantage of three valuable presentations being staged by the shows this year.

The first presentation will s tart at 10am with Mike Robey, sustainable electricals programme manager of WRAP, the government’s resource efficiency body. Mike will be covering the latest news on the Electrical Sustainability Action Plan (esap) which seeks to deliver value through sustainability for electrical appliance suppliers and retailers.

He will be followed at 10.30am by Anthony Williams, housewares account director from leading market research company GfK. Anthony will be providing a briefing session titled ’The changing face of food preparation and dining’, which will cover developments in the housewares and small electricals market.

Finally, at 11am, trend forecasting agency Scarlet Opus, represented by Victoria Redshaw and Phil Pond, will be sharing their thinking and research on the design, material and pattern trends that are likely to have the most impact on the housewares and small electricals product sectors - focusing on Christmas 2015 and on into the spring/summer season for 2016.

All three sessions will take place in the presentation room located opposite stand 442 on the Gallery, which will be signposted. They are free to attend, with seats allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The presentation room will also feature a trends display prepared by the Scarlet Opus team utilising material from exhibitors, which will be available for visitors to view throughout the show.
