I hope that you are all looking forward to DCON this weekend! This weekend there are going to be members from the Georgia Circle K Alumni Association (GCAA) in attendance. This is an organization open to any past Circle K members with the goal of supporting our current Georgia Circle K members. The GCAA provides many things to the members of our district including the earplugs and s’mores at FMR and in the past have given out a scholarship at DCON. If you are a graduating member of Circle K and are interested in joining the alumni association, please speak with Anla Etheridge or Stacey Fountain this weekend who are current officers of the association. We’re inviting all Cowboys and Cowgirls to Statesboro, Georgia, for the Social Service Tour (SST). Students will enjoy a day and a half of southern hospitality and western fun on March 29-30th, 2013. Registration will be $10 and forms will be due on March 11th, 2013. Registrations forms will be available soon, but until then, you can contact [email protected] with any questions. Treasurer As the year is drawing to a close and you are holding club elections, we as a District Board would

like to invite you to participate in Club Officer Leadership Training (COLT) that the District hosts

every year. This year there will be two COLTs this year. One will be March 30th, at 2pm at

Georgia Southern University in the Russell Union immediately following the Service Social Tour in

Statesboro, GA. There will also be another COLT in the northern part of the state to be held on

and at a location that has yet to be determined by the District, but will occur sometime during the

month of April. Stay on the lookout for more detailed information as the dates approach! Also, as

you elect your new officers, please send that contact information to [email protected].

The current District Secretary will hand over that information to the newly elected District

Secretary. Hope to see you at District Convention! ~Elizabeth Ludlow

Clubs, please don't forget to apply for

District Awards! They are due upon

arrival at District Convention when you

arrive at the registration table to pick up

your materials and name badges. The

awards will be given out Saturday

morning at K-Family Breakfast and

Saturday evening during the Presi-

dent's Banquet. Don't sacrifice the

chance to win. Start working on your

award packet today! Also remember

that all of the CMRs, April through

January, must be turned in to the

District Secretary either proior to

arriving or when turning in the Awards
