Disgusting and Polluted  Disir have rubbery flesh that is pasty green-white, and uneven areas of their bodies sprout a darker colored chitinous shell. Their pores ooze a green jellylike substance polluted with black specks of dirt. Disir stand hunched over, arms habitually raised before them like that of a praying mantis, displaying wicked claws. Their head are similarly insectlike, though fleshy with wet  jowls around its cheeks and neck. Their lower jaws jut out from their skull with tusks and a long, rasp-like tongue. Alien and Hateful  Disir are known only for their utter disregard for non- disir. Swarming from the depths of their underground homes, they are relentless in attacking and eliminating those other races they find in “their” territ ory. Even worse, the few survivors have confirmed that the disir eat the dead, both their own and that of their enemies.  Dark and Terrible Vistas  Disir dwell deep beneath Krynn, far deeper than the dwarves have ever delved, that is until recently. Only in the last century were dwarves, greedy to discover more lucrative veins of precious minerals, responsible for  breaking into the first disir warr ens. The dwarves fled at the horror of their opponents, but the disir have pursued them and now threaten the surface world.  In Search of Prey  Disir adventure for one reason: to expand the reach of the disir race. Disir Names Disir names are all but unpronounceable to non-disir. Even when translated, the names amount to simple designations of role and function, rather than true monikers. Male and Female Names: Drone, Scout, Soldier, Warrior, Queen Disir Traits:  Your underground heritage grants you the following qualities.  Ability Score Increase.  Your Constitution score increases by 2.  Age. Disir mature through both a male and female  phase throughout their lives. They hatch from eggs as larva-like young, develop into males, and within ten years are grown adults. Half of these adult males will then transition into females, either entering into a  breeding cycle or becoming queens. Queens typically live for up to 60 years, males and brood females for 30 years.  Alignment. Most true disir are lawful evil, while tyin are neutral.  Size. True disir are 6-7 feet tall and weigh around 200  pounds. Tyin reach nearly 9 feet in height and weight over 600 pounds. Your size is Medium (True) or Large (Tyin).  Bite.  Melee Weapon Attack:  reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d4 + Strength modifier piercing damage. The target must make a Constitution save (DC 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus), taking 2d6 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Claw.  Melee Weapon Attack: reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d6 + Strength modifier slashing damage. Fire Resistance. You have resistance to fire damage.  Natural Armor. You have natural armor (AC 11).  Slimy Coating. You have proficiency on Dexterity checks to wriggle free of bonds.  Sunlight Sensitivity. You have disadvantage on attack rolls and on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when you, the target of your attack, or whatever you are trying to perceive is in direct sunlight.  Darkvision. You have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.  Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Deep Speech.  Subraces. Two main subraces of disir dwell beneath the surface of Krynn: True and Tyin. Choose one of these subraces.

    Disir Queen

    Beginning at 5th level, an adult female true disir may

    undergo the process to become a disir queen, if she has

    gained control of her tribe. The entire process takes a

    month, after which she gains the following traits.

    Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score

    increases by 2.

    Ability Score Decrease. Your Strength and Dexterity

    scores decrease by 2.

    Student of Anatomy. You have proficiency in the

    Medicine skill.

    Of One Mind. You have advantage on saving throws

    against being charmed, and magic cant put you to sleep.

    Poison Immunity. You have immunity to poison.

    Influence Mutation. A disir queen can alter, distort, or

    accentuate the traits of a larval disir, so it becomes a

    mutant as an adult. This ability requires the disir queen to

    make a successful Wisdom (Medicine) check. Only one

    effect may be applied to each larval disir.
