The ATExcelixi Training and Conference Centre, a company of the ATEbank Group*, is a dynamic institution providing educational courses, in-service professional training and facilities for conferences, social functions and cultural events. Situated in the beautiful, green surroundings of Nea Erythrea/ Kastri in the Northern suburbs of Athens, it provides a distraction-free environment, suitable for learning and business events. Building on the long experience and expertise of the Bank’s Training Centre and opening a new chapter in its history, ATExcelixi is now offering a package of integrated and ever-improving services.

With its accumulated know-how in training and conference organizing and its state of the art equipment and facilities, this Training and Conference Centre is unrivalled in Greece and in the region.

The design and construction of the Centre conforms to international standards and has been funded by the European Union under the terms of Regulation 815/84. It is housed in a building complex designed as a training and conference centre with residential facilities; therefore, it is equipped with everything necessary for the smooth operation of effective training programs and well-organized conferences, workshops, seminars, exhibitions, cultural and social events and business functions at national and international level.

The name ATExcelixi reflects the vision of the company’s founders. Guided by experience, the aspiration of its management is to excel in the provision of training and event organizing. The Training Centre facilities conform to international standards (floor area per student, interior design, lighting, and air-conditioning) and are designed to meet the requirementsof a wide-randge of training programmes and learning activities. ATExcelixi is accredited by Cisco as a Cisco Academy. With the guidance of tutors trainedand accredited by Cisco, it offers courses leading to professional qualifications in the field ofcomputer networking and certificates recognized all over the world.

T R A I N I N GC E N T R E

The Conference Centre consists of two functional areas extended in grounds of 1.5 hectares. It can accommodate over 600 persons a day and offers a comprehensive range of services, including catering, as well as residential facilities for 150 persons. The Centre is surrounded by well-kept, easily accessible open space and four acres of pinewoods.

The Conference Centre has been designed and built with consideration and the utmost respect for the environment and the needs of conference participants. With its bright, sunny and spacious conference rooms, lounges and dining areas, it offers the participants an ideal environment in which to learn and socialize. The gardens and underground parking add substantially to the convenience of those attending events in the Centre. The facilities available include:

The Zeus Wing comprises thirty attractive, sunny single rooms with direct access to the Conference Centre – a great attraction for the organizers, teaching staff and attendees of conferences, seminars and other events.

The Hera Wing consists of 46 double and 23 single rooms. All rooms are large, sunny and fully equipped, with windows looking out towards the nearby mountains and the well-kept gardens and pinewoods. Common areas are spacious, accessible and well designed.

A cafeteria-bar servicing customers in a terrace overlooking the gardens and two restaurants with a seating capacity of up to 300, complements the facilities of the hotel. With its elevated verandas, gardens and pinewoods, the hotel provides an ideal setting for meals and other functions such as cocktail parties, receptions, business lunches, banquets and special events.

The hotel offers a wide variety of à la carte menus, special menus and buffet meals to hotel guests and those attending events at the Training and Conference Centre, served either in the restaurants or outside the lecture and conference rooms. The menus can be adapted to the customers preferences and the particular needs of each event.

An integral part of the ATExcelixi complex is the historic Kastri Hotel. The hotel, like the rest of the Centre, stands in a guarded compound. Together with the surrounding area (Kastri), it is an oasis of tranquillity and security only a few miles from the centre of Athens. Delegates feel uplifted by its four acres of pinewoods and its well-tended gardens. Overall, it provides an ideal setting for people attending seminars, conferences and other events.
