Excellence in Review Award

1
A journal exists on the goodwill and expertise of its reviewer corps. Our Editors rely on high-quality, constructive, and timely reviews from the more than 4000 reviewers in our database to ensure the excellence of papers that appear in ES&T. We realize that reviewing is a time-consuming job with no tangible reward. In recognition of this, and in or- der to express our gratitude to some of our best reviewers, ES&T established an annual “Excellence in Review” award in 2003. Once again, I asked our Editors to nominate reviewers who have consistently provided both scholarly and timely reviews. We salute all of the individuals below. —Jerald Schnoor, Editor Excellence in Review Award Diana Aga University at Buffalo, The State University of New York Madalena Alves University of Minho Portugal Lars Angenent Washington University in St. Louis Richard Bindler Umeå University Sweden Neil Bruce University of York U.K. Neil Donahue Carnegie Mellon University Thomas Hofstetter Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich Robert Letcher Environment Canada and Carleton University Ottawa Bruce Logan Pennsylvania State University Donald Mackay Trent University Canada Nancy Bixian Mai Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry Chinese Academy of Sciences Kristopher McNeill University of Minnesota Joe Pignatello Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station New Haven, Conn.
