  • Validate data:

    Validate data button is used for validating entered data for basic checks.

    e.g.

    You need to run Validate Data till you rectify all the errors.

    Delete Selected:

    This button is to Delete Selected rows.

    Only After selecting rows (to be deleted), user should press this button.

    FCO: Export as .csv:

    This button is used to export your POI sheet as .csv.

    Once data is checked for validity, you click on this button to open a browse window with default location of C drive and default .csv name as POI if you are in POI sheet.

    If data entered is violating rules, comment would be added to erroneous cell and it would be marked with RED color.

    Note: You MUST use TomTom FCO toolbar to export your Point of Interest records as a .csv content file for uploading in FCO Website.

    Note: DO NOT edit the CSV file in EXCEL again after exporting from FCO POI template. Always make changes in FCO POI Template Excel, Validate and Export it as CSV using the TOOL

    2. Set security level to Low.

    3. Go to "Trusted Publishers" tab & check "Trust access to Visual Basic Project".

    Here is the sample way of correctly Entering the data

    After Entering data in the POI Sheet, Please use the FCO toolbar for validating the content

    Beneath each column heading, specify the corresponding data for each location. When specifying data, observe the following rules:Enter Longitude values in the X-Coordinatecolumn; these values should be decimal degrees (Minimum 7 digits after decimal), from 93 to 141 (for example,98.7345411).Enter Latitude values in the Y-Coordinatecolumn; these values should be decimal degrees (Minimum 7 digits after decimal), from -12 to 6 (for example,-10.3408712).Do not include any directional (N, E, S, or W) in the latitude and longitude values in the X-Coordinate and Y-Coordinate columns.When you are specifying POI name, Brand Name etc., you can use alphanumeric values.If you include anyPOI Type column then corresponding Subcategory, Alternate Subcategory, Subattribute-01, Subattribute02, Subattribute-03 must be chosen from corresponding lists from that particular cell, In case this is available on the FIELD.TheE-Mail IDcolumn allows you to specify an email address for a contact person at the location.TheWeb Addresscolumn allows you to specify a web address for POI at the location.All other columns should be filled in as per the normal meaning of the heading like PlaceName, StreetName, Postal Code etc
