EXALTED STATUS OF THE HOLY PROPHETAS THE KHATAMUN NABIYEEN

Ahniadies believe firmly, fervently, without any ambiguity orreservation and with all their heart and soul, that the Holy Prophetof Islam, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (peace and blessings ofAllah be upon him) is Khatamun Nabiyeen. He was, and will everremain, the greatest Prophet of all times-past, present andfuture-and his Shariah will remain unaltered and the guidingcode and law till doomsday.

Those opposed to Ahmadiyyat have carried out a vigorouscampaign of falsifisation that Ahmadies do not believe in Kharam-i-IVabuwar and, (>,L;$ ) God forbid, are guilty of down-gradingthe exalted and supreme status of the Holy Prophet, peace andblessings of Allah be on him. This is a cruel, utterly and totallyfalse accusation and can certainly be described and counted as thebiggest-lie of the century-if not of all times.

They have made this false charge from all pulpits and have madeit so repeatedly that a large section of Muslims, who have notcared to check this accusation by referring to the books of theFounder of the Community and other Ahmadiyya literature, havebeen tricked into believing it.

It is incumbent on every Muslim to look into the conflictingclaims and decide who is right. This can best be done by recourseto our admittedly common heritage and the source of all guidance.In other words we should first of all examine:

1. Which claim is supported by the Holy Quran.

2. What is the verdict of the Hadith-a record of the sayings ofand annunciations by the Holy Prophet.
