EX2100 : EX 2100 Hardware contained; 1) Control cabinet 2) Auxiliary cabinet 3) Power conversion cabinet Exciter power converter consisted of bridge rectifiers, resistor /capacitor filter configuration and control circuitry. Bridge size SCR device used 100 mm. Bridge configurations of simplex or single bridge, warm backup or redundant bridge, and multiple parallel bridges. The Exciter blocks individual perform specific function , such as logic gates , proportional integral regulators, function generators and signal level detectors. The control selects one of two modes, either generator voltage regulation or direct control. Generator protection functions are integrated into the control including over and under excitation limiting, power system stabilization and V/Hz limiting.
