1) BPS Open Days - 26-27 Apr 2013, BPS

Our heartfelt thanks to BPS Student Union who has arranged our Booth to be set at the centre of the Lobby. Guests were able to meet us when they came in through the Main Entrance. It was nice meeting our teachers, friends, schoolmates, members and their families. The souvenirs were another eye-catching point.

2) BOGA 2013 AGM – 6 Jun 2013, BPS

The 2013 AGM started at 6:30pm and went through all agenda items smoothly. 32 members attended.

3) BPS Home-coming Day – 6 Jun 2013, BPS

Old girls of different years came back and joined the campus tour, chatting and meeting teachers. The School Hall was filled with laughter and surprises when met with teachers and schoolmates of long time ago. BOGA set up a counter to show the annual activities' snapshots, to meet with old and new members and to sell the souvenirs.

4) Broadway Musical 2013 presented by BOGF 27 Aug 2013, Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts

Amphitheatre, Wanchai, Hong Kong (An event organised by BOGF for the purpose of raising the much needed money for the Music Fund of BPS for purchasing musical instruments, financing the cost of a part-time music teacher and subsidizing the cost of related school music activities.)

With great support from schoolmates and good friends, BOGA Choir joined this meaningful event and gained much applause for their performance. Other performers included Karen Wong and Petrina Ho (1966 F5 Grad), Rosaline Pi (1970 F5 Grad), Agnes Chung (1971 F5 Grad), Leung Siu Kum (1974 F5 Grad), Vanessa Li (1977 F5 Grad), Louise Kwong (2004 S5 Grad), Ms Mak Shuk Pui (BPS Music Teacher) etc.

<< News from Schoolmates >> 1) Reunion of Class 1972 - Aug 2012


2) Reunion of Class 1967 - Nov 2012 Most of us made our best friends in secondary school and stay well connected

thereafter. However, close connections occur only in small groups, and we were out of touch with most of the familiar faces in our schooldays decades ago.

In 2012, some members of the class of 1967 (who became “Belilions” in 1962) initiated a reunion to celebrate our friendship of half a century. Members of the organising committee (黄燕婷、王春麗、連蕙馨、陳碧蓮) planned two events in November 2012 --- a one-day tour to Zhuhai (珠海) and dinner at the City University of Hong Kong --- which provided an opportunity for us to reminisce the good old days.

In the morning of 9 November 2012, twelve alumni took a ferry to 珠海九洲港, and made our first stop at 普陀寺. Shortly before noon, we arrived at United International College (聯合國際學院), a joint venture of Beijing Normal University and Hong Kong Baptist College. Thanks to our former classmate, 黎鳳娟教授 (who is the Director of the English Language Centre at UIC), we had the privilege of touring the campus.

After lunch, we spent the afternoon at 孫中山故居紀念館 in Zhongshan and 珠海香爐灣

畔. We even managed to squeeze in a brief visit to a shopping mall before dinner so as to satisfy those who craved shopping.

Three days after this delightful trip, thirty-two alumni gathered at a Chinese restaurant at the City University campus, including a few who came from overseas to join this special occasion ---甘淑明、叢晶娜 and 俞宗欣. We were overjoyed to see our honourable guest, Ms Khan, whom most of us had not seen for decades!

We must applaud Dr Wong Yin Ting, Grace for spending days creating a video of vintage images collected from alumni. We had good laughs while watching the video, which brought back so much fond memories. In the pictures taken at the dinner, one may notice that all participants wore green outfits, or at least a touch of our school colour.

These two activities gave us plenty of time for chit chats and we all appreciated this opportunity of renewing our friendship of 50 years.


2) 1983 Graduates 30th Anniversary Dinner - Aug 2013

68 classmates from 5B, 5P, 5S, 5H, 5K & 5G joined the Dinner at Hong Kong Football Club with 12 teachers present. Teachers were Mrs. Wong Mak Kit Ling, Miss Penelope Lee, Mr. Ku Chak Fun, Mrs. Chan Au-Yeung Tung Tong, Mr. Chan Kam Hung, Mrs. Sylvia Chien, Mrs. Jennie Leung, Mrs. Mak, Mrs. Ho, Miss Doris Mak, Mrs. Lai & Mrs. S. Condolence Mrs NGAN LAI Yung-kiu (顏黎容嬌) , former Chinese & Chinese History teacher of BPS, passed away on 11 September 2013.

Mrs Ngan served BPS since 1984 and was very popular among students. Her care earned her much love and respect. She will

be in our memory forever. Her love to BPS students will continue by the establishment of

a scholarship named after her. Our deepest condolence to the family of Mrs Ngan.

集團有限公司，創業作是《雷霆戰警》。近期監製作品有

《新警察故事》、《神話》及《明明》。她是美國影藝學院

之會員。
