The  Instructions  below  will  help  you  with  turning  on  the  SMART  Board  and  Apple  TV.  

 

1. Use  the  wall  switch  to  lower  screen.      

2. Turn  on  projector.  3. Select  input  using  projector  remote.  Press  the  HDMI  

button  (6)  and  you  should  see  the  computer  screen.  Press  the  Computer  1  Button  (1)  and  the  Apple  TV  should  appear  on  the  screen.    

a. Computer  =  HDMI  b. Apple  TV  =  Computer  1  

 4. The  projector  remote  controls  volume  of  the  computer  and  

the  Apple  TV.

 Instructions  on  how  to  get  your  iPad,  iPad  mini,  iPhone  to  show  up  on  the  screen  (Mirroring):          

1. Make  sure  that  your  device  is  connected  to  Wi-­‐Fi  (ASTATE  SECURE).    2. Slide  to  unlock  your  screen,  then  press  the  home  button  twice  and  you  will  see  a  screen  that  looks  like  the  image      

 

 

3.  Next  swipe  the  bottom  section  to  the  right  and  you  will  see  an  image  that  looks  like    

 

4.  Swipe  the  bottom  section  to  the  right  one  more  time  and  your  screen  should  look  like  this  

5.  Next  press  the  round  Icon  on  the  very  right  (Mirroring  Icon).      

6.  A  screen  should  appear  that  looks  like  the  image  below.  You  will  then  click  EWS221.    You  will  get  an  option  to  turn  on  Mirroring  for  your  device.  Swipe  this  to  ON.    

 

7.  You  will  see  an  onscreen  passcode  on  the  SMART  board.  Type  the  4-­‐digit  passcode  in  your  device.  This  could  have  a  slight  delay  of  10-­‐15  Seconds.  Once  the  passcode  is  in,  your  device  should  be  mirroring  to  the  screen.  *Note  if  this  does  not  work  and  your  device  is  not  appearing  on  the  screen  repeat  step  6.    

8.  When  you  are  finished  mirroring  your  device  you  will  go  back  to  the  mirroring  

icon.    

9.  Then  you  will  click  on  the  very  top  option,  which  should  say  the  name  of  your  device  (iPad,  iPad  mini,  iPhone).
