A study of 7,500 university students revealed that music majors scored the highest reading scores among all majors including English, biology, chemistry and math.
Waylon Jennings and George Jones have become country music icons throughout the
last four decades.

In 2007, George Strait broke
Conway Twitty’s
record for most #1 songs on
the Billboard list. He
broke the record with 44 songs.
The United States is #1 in album sales in
the world.
Taking on a sound much like the classic country icons, Jamey Johnson has created a huge fan base for himself. He has collaborated with numerous artists including Waylon Jenning’s son, Shooter.
With music instruction in schools, teachers
found that students were less
aggressive.
