Established in 1985 by the St Petersburg State University, the SUJES is among the oldest and most respected scholarly journals in economics in Russia. Since 1946 to 1985, economic topics were presented in a separate section in the interdisciplinary journal "Vestnik (Bulletin) of the Leningrad University." The journal is bilingual, accepts materials for publication in Russian or English for free. The SUJES is indexed in: Emerging Sources Citation Index (Web of Science Core Collection), Russian Science Citation Index на платформе Web of Science, EBSCO, Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory, eLIBRARY.ru, EastView, КиберЛенинка. Information for Authors The primary criterion for publication in the SUJES is the significance of the contribution to the literature. The manuscript should be from 7,000 to 10,000 words and should include an abstract (200-230) words) and keywords (10 words or phrases). The abstract should include the following information in concise form: a) subject and aim (objectives), hypotheses; b) method (methodology); c) results (conclusions) and their significance; and d) sphere of application of results obtained. The manuscript should have the following format: • Introduction that states the question and identifies its importance for contemporary Russian and international economic theory and practice. • Main section that presents original research, including a review of existing relevant literature, historical overview (if necessary), evolution of the scholarly approaches in the field, model(s) used, data and methods and their relevance ,and analysis. We recommend using a clear structure and using headings and subheadings or numbered sections to structure the main body of the manuscript. • Conclusion that discusses findings, possible uses and further questions, and possible limitations or directions for future research.
