INTRODUCTIONINTRODUCTIONThe evolution, is based on the changes and necesary to survive.
Natural selection, one of Darwin´s proposals, is responsible to define the qualities needed to evolve and survive.

I think this experiment show us that not only humans are the only intelligent beings in the planet. Animals get what they need in an intelligent way, protecting what they think is the best for their species.

Scientists at the University of Chicago, have created the first genetically modified animal containing reconstructed ancient genes.

They wanted to know, what was the responsible gene of the evolution of the animals according to the environment, but it was difficult to test in ancient genes.

Drosophila Melanogaster, was used because of the way it tolerates high concentrations of alcohol, because it lives in rotting fruit.
It developed the gene for the enzyme alcohol dehydrogenase that breaks down alcohol inside cells faster than their relatives.
D. Melanogaster adapted to food with high content of alcohol, but not because of changes in the enzyme Adh.

I think this is very nice because as fruit flies adapt to the changes, we also can do it and it´s shown in everything we do now, like the different circumstances and environments that we daily deal with.
MEDICAL UTILITYMEDICAL UTILITY
MEDICAL UTILITYMEDICAL UTILITY
Important to know that we can find a mate to conserve the species in a healthy and balanced way, providing good results.
MEDICAL UTILITYMEDICAL UTILITY
Important to know that our body, has special ways to keep adapting to the changes and the challenges that we daily live and we must face in order to survive.
MEDICAL MEDICAL UTILITYUTILITY
There are a lot of genes that we use and ways to adapt, but we should find out how they work to give them a better use. It give us a challenge to investigate more about special genes.
