At Scheidt & Bachmann, it is our tradition to plan our com-

pany’s development so that it is both consistent and long

term oriented. Since our early beginnings as a mechanical

engineering company, we have made targeted investments

in the continuous training of our employees and in highly

developed state-of-the-art production technology. From

manufacturing of level crossings, signal boxes and signal-

ling systems for railways, the company expanded in the

1930s to the construction of fuel pumps. Since the 1960s

the company has been developing and delivering access

control systems for multi-storey car parks, swimming pools

and leisure facilities. The trend towards automated fare col-

lection systems at the end of the 1970s led to the forming

of the company’s fourth division, of fare collection systems.

Manages reservations of parking spaces for defi ned place

and time quotas. Ideally this is linked to a web portal, which

the end customer can operate himself.

printed ticket with barcode, license plate or by code

Parking Guidance System PGS

Guides the traffi c searching for a parking space to defi ned

Solution for systems of any complexity.

Because of the far-reaching red/green indicators on the •

ultrasonic sensors, the driver searching for a parking space

can easily fi nd a free parking space at great distance.

Minimizes the traffi c due to drivers searching for a parking

space and consequently reduces the CO2 emission.

Preventive Maintenance.• Every

technical system is subject to regular

maintenance. We will readily under-

take this responsibility for you. We will

agree with you the necessary main-

tenance intervals depending on the

work load of the existing system or the

individual components.

Hotline Agreement.• To lay out

the regular utilization of the hotline as

straightforward as possible, we readily

offer you a hotline agreement which

covers any discussions / queries occur-

ring. This ensures that your personnel

can immediately face a competent

partner in all cases of request. As a sep-

arate module, we offer you that certain

system alarms are reported directly to

our help desk, so that we can already

intervene as soon as certain threshold

levels are reached, even before an er-

ror occurs.

Full-Service Agreement.• (option-

ally including or excluding spare parts)

In case you intend to outsource the

complete technical care of your sys-

tem, we will also be at your disposal.

In this agreement model, both the

preventive maintenance and a hotline

agreement are included, as well as any

services rendered including the sub-

assemblies needed, except vandalism /

overload voltage / accident damage,

etc. Consequently, exactly defi ned cost

items will be available to you for every

budget year.

Software Maintenance •

Agreement. In addition to regular up-

dates of the Scheidt & Bachmann soft-

ware, this includes also system updates

for the OEM products applied by us

(Windows, Oracle) so that your system

is always on a safe up-to-date status.

This Agreement Model also includes

the module “Hotline Agreement” and

will be accessible by an interface to our

centre in Mönchengladbach.

After Sales

For comprehensive maintenance, it

is important to have steady access to

competent technical advisors at any

time. For this purpose, the members of

our project divisions are at your steady

disposal. They will prepare customized

individual offers that exactly refl ect the

existing hardware and software status

of your system, so that the implemen-

tation of your requests within your sys-

tem is a matter of smooth realization.

Training

For operating a system successfully, your staff needs a training as close to reality as possible. For this pur-

pose, we offer you with our extensive training concept – both in Mönchengladbach and on-site where your

business is located – individual training courses. So we will prepare your staff members explicitly and related

to priorities to your Car Park Management System. We also take the different functions into account, by of-

fering both, training courses on “administration” subjects and on “technical care / self-help” or even individ-

ual courses on subjects like “invoicing / accounting”. If needed, we naturally prepare a training approach in

collaboration with you, where all subjects are addressed, creating a basic knowledge for your staff members.

This is to make sure that your staff can competently and safely work with our equipment, from the very fi rst

day of start-up.

Training courses to our own service engineers

You have decided on one of our service products and trust in

the support by our service engineers? We train our service en-

gineers at regular intervals to keep them abreast with the func-

tioning of new features and modules or with customer-specifi c

developments. Apart from meeting their service duties, our

technical specialists also introduce the customer’s personnel in

the operation of a new system after installation.

poses in our headquarters at Mönchengladbach we give

software of our products, by the support of our competent

instructors. Additionally, the hardware is not disregarded

in our training activities. Training exercises on real equip-

ment will supplement our training scope offered to you.

training centre will very effectively complete the vocational
