AIMS Of EVCP BAME EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME
OVER ALL AIM: The central aim is provide BME communities with the skills and confidence to make active change within their communities
•Develop the leadership skills of participants •Identifying potential ‘BME empowerment champions
•Enable the empowerment champions to engage with local statutory partners and decision-makers
•Improve the skills and knowledge of participants, such as confidence, leadership, analysis of power, citizenship, presentation and decision-making processes
•Demonstrating the good practice of this model by providing 2 case studies from the participants
