Events of 2017-18 Event Name: Independence Day Event Date: 15th August 2017 Time: 8:00am Description: On the occasion of independence day, we the students of KLE Tech and all the faculty members gathered in front of the main building to celebrate the nation's independence by hoisting the tricolor at sharp 8:00AM followed by our National anthem. We recalled the martyrs and let patriotism swell up in our hearts. Then followed the Cultural Program. Patriotic Poems and Songs were recited by the students.

Event Name: Teacher’s Day

Description:
On the occasion of teacher’s day, we honored the memory of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a
great scholar and an even greater teacher. It was celebrated by a cake cutting ceremony and was
followed by events held for the faculty and speeches about teacher's day by some selected
students.

Description:
On the occasion of Engineers day, we paid our homage to the portrait of the Nation's greatest
engineer, Bharat Ratna Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya and awarded the hard efforts of Engineers.
In the spirit of leadership and problem solving, it was a reminder to all the students that some of
the greatest contributions to society were made by engineers.

Description:
The event marking the 148th
birth anniversary of the father of our nation, Mahatma Gandhi was
celebrated with prayer services by all the Faculty members and students with great tribute. The
event commenced by worshiping and offering flowers and performing puja to photo of Mahatma
Gandhi
Event Name: Kannada Rajyotsava
Event Date: 1st November 2017

Description:
The 62nd
Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated with great joy and pleasure by the students and
faculty members of the KLE Technological University. The event was started by hoisting the
State flag and singing the Naada Geete and was continued by various cultural activities.

Description:
This event is celebrated to mark the day of the start of KLE Society and its journey all these
years. This event commenced by lighting the lamp and performing Pooja and was followed by
cultural events.
Event Name: Republic Day

Description:
India celebrated its 67th Republic day on Tuesday, 26-January-2016. The republic day is
celebrated with a lot of grace and pride. It is celebrated by hoisting the flag and singing the
national anthem. The courage of our great soldiers and their sacrifices were remembered.

The KLE technological University celebrates Women’s day to encourage women. The world
says to be developed a lot but women are still under appreciated for the work done. Here in KLE
tech we celebrate equality. This celebration bought smiles and happiness all around.

Description:
The day most awaited in a student’s life is the graduation day. This event changes the life of a
student, wearing black capes and stiff caps. With great pride and receiving their degrees on their
convocation. The day is filled with great joy and happiness, Both the students and mentors are
happy wishing them all great luck for their future.
