Over a century-old, the Freixenet cellar doors are open throughout the year so that visitors can enter the magical world of bubbles and live a unique experience. The visit invites you to discover the art of cava making and enjoy the delicious sparkling wines of Freixenet. The winery is located in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, in the heart of the Penedes region, 35 minutes from Barcelona. Our facilities have venues for meetings, team-building, family or business events. CornerUnder the porch of the main Freixenet facade we find the charming Corner area. A covered, alfresco venue which has a cafeteria and comfortable armchairs, and allows you to enjoy the outdoors in a well lit covered area. Entrance HallFreixenet receives all its visitors through the Hall, the elegant main entrance to the centuries-old cellars where the aromas of the winery can immediately be appreciated. Amulti-use venue for a welcome drink, a cookery master-class with lunch or an informal tasting. The hall is linked to the Fountain Garden, the Corner area and the Royal Salon.

The majestic Freixenet Royal Salonis an elegant spacious venue in which to celebrate special events: banquets,conventions and any kind of large format celebration. The walls showcasestone sculptures by the Catalan sculptor Pep Codó. The Royal Salon is located on the main floor at Freixenet, a very symbolic space whereformerly the grapes were pressed, which was reconfigured and opened in 1987 as the space that we know today.

The cellars have an exclusive, private, limited capacity venue which is perfect for private meetings, tastings or more intimate family celebrations. The Salonet is inside the Royal Salon, has an independent entrance and is elegantly furnished.

Press GardenLocated outside the Royal Salon, thisspectacular outdoor space is excellent for large celebrations and open air receptions while enjoying the Mediterranean climate in the heart of the Penedès. As the name suggests,it highlights two Dubois basket pressesthat were in use from 1895 onwards. The Press Garden is ideal for cocktails, outdoor dinners or weddings, as well as for an aperitif before a main meal in the Royal Salon.

Barrel CellarAt the heart of the cellars we find theBarrel Room, a silent ethereal venuewhich houses the original barrels in which the expedition liquor is aged.We will encounter this liquor at a later stage inside the most exclusive bottles of Cava. A uniquely special place to celebrate those major and minor moments, which can be custom decorated for any occasion.

A spacious and comfortable venue, ideal for all kinds of tastings and cocktails. The windows overlooking the cellars make it a bright and pleasant venue. From the Tasting Room we can also access the private area of the tower, two designer venues with their own kitchen. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

Requirements to confirm the reservation of the venue:

• Payment in advance of 50% of the rental fee by bank transfer and sending confirmation by email to events@freixenet.es

• Signature of the contract by both parties

A minimum of 7 working days before the event, proof of payment of the outstanding amount (50% balance) to be sent by email to events@freixenet.es.

The payment of copyright (S.G.A.E and A.G.E.D.I) will be charged to the customer’s account, and is mandatory for any event that includes music.

CANCELLATION

IIn case of cancellation for reasons other than by Freixenet:

• Payment and deposit (50%) will not be returned.

• In the case of cancellation 30 working days before the event, 75% of the total will be invoiced.

• In the case of cancellation 7 or fewer working days before the event, 100% of the cost will be invoiced.

RESTRICTIONS

Check parking availability.

Consumption of alcohol by children under 18 is prohibited.

Pets not permitted.

In compliance with law 42/2010, smoking is prohibited inside the cellar.

It is prohibited to throw balloons, confetti, firecrackers, fireworks or dangerous substances inside the enclosure. Posters, ropes or stickers may not be attached to any of the indoor or outdoor walls of the cellar.

Freixenet reserves the right of admission, as well as to make changes and improvements throughout the premises.

In the event of rain or inclement weather, outdoor events can be re-arranged inside the cellars.

In case of needing set up and break down days before or after the event, it is essential to communicate this at the time of paying the deposit. The corresponding rates will be invoiced according to a prior quotation.

The catering company must be a regular supplier to the

companies belonging to the Freixenet Group. During the event, only wines and cavas produced or distributed by companies of the Freixenet Group may be served.

You must inform 30 working days before the event of any external workers who will require access. Everyone must be registered with the Social Security authorities and be able to provide any required information to the PRL department.
