Flanked by the two museum halls and surrounded by nu-merous legends of aviation history, our unique open-air ground is awaiting you. The highlight: a fantastic view of the legendary supersonic passenger aircraft Concorde and Tupolev 144. On an area of about 20.000 m² we are offering you plenty of space for open-air events of any kind like club meetings, concerts, product presentations or tent installations.

We will also be glad to welcome you with champagne and an amuse-gueule on the flight deck at the French supersonic aircraft Concorde. The wind is bringing you the soft sounds of chanson and musette and the little culinary delicacies will tickle the taste buds of your guests.

With individual lighting and decoration we will transform this location according to your intentions and ideas. Also make use of our “Flight Deck Lounge” on the upper level with a panorama view of the hall.

To venture into alien worlds, to observe small things up close, to encounter big things in all of their magnitude and to experience “film” in a new dimension: This is IMAX 3D.

With crystal clear images, ten times larger than the tra-ditional cinema format, a screen as tall as a five story building and a 22.000 Watt sound system the IMAX 3D experience draws you in with pictures so real you want to touch them and a sound so powerful you can feel it. The giant film frames offer far greater resolution than conventional 35 mm film and all existing digital cinema projection systems. A completely unique way to watch a movie.

Besides the movie experience we are also offering you the possibility to use the 22 x 27 m screen for shows and presentations. Take the chance and exclusively book Germany’s first IMAX 3D movie theatre for you and your guests, also out of regular hours.
