Calendar of Events OCTOBER 2017 Effingham Public Library: A catalyst for positive action Aſter many conversaons with you and the rest of our community, we are pleased to unveil our 5 strategic areas: Welcoming Communicaon Connecon Educaon Safety These are the words that connued to come up again and again in our conversaons with you. We will be craſting events and opportunies to be a catalyst for posive acon in these areas. If you have ideas, we'd love to hear them! We are excited to engage even more with the community and help make connecons that allow our community to flourish! The library has received a grant from the Koboldt Trust to purchase hotspots for the library. These mobile hotspots allow you to connect a phone, tablet or other device to wi-fi to access the internet. Hotspots can be used by everyone wherever you go! New in town and don't have the internet hooked up? Going camping in the middle of no where and need to check your email? Job searching at night and unable to pay for wi-fi? School research paper? Try a hotspot! Check out the hostpots for 14 days and renew them 3 mes if no one is waing!
