On the day of the competition, the entry fee is 30.000HUF.

2./In advance:

The fee, if paid in advance, is 20.000.-HUF/round - if, it is paid in or

transferred into the account in full, no later than 15 calendar days before the

competition. (Please note, in the case of a bank transfer, the foundation's

account must be credited in full by 18.00 hours on the Friday, two weeks before

the competition.)

Incase of a cancellation by the Organiser, the competitor’s entry fee will be fully

refunded.

Race cancellation by the Competitor

A competitor, who already transferred the entry fee but cannot attend for some

reason, 50% of the paid fee will be transferred towards the entry fee of the next

competition in which he/she can attend.

Insurance (in Hungary only): The compulsory insurance for each competitor

must be paid at check-in in the office in the morning of the competition.

PARTICIPATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The competitor participates in the competition on the basis of his / her own

responsibility (in the case of a minor, parent or representative) and on the basis of

this responsibility he / she must comply with Gokart Talent Cup Hungary's General

Safety and Competition Rules.

The competitor waives his/her rights to claim for damages caused by

himself/herself or any other competitor.

The competitor is required to ensure that his/her go-kart meets the technical and

safety requirements, in the training sessions as well as in competition as a whole.

The competitor can only take part in the competition on the day, if he/she has paid

in full, has a valid insurance (can be bought on the day), checked in/did all the

registration papers, passed the technical checks. Only gokarts with homologation

(either in 2018 or previous years) can take part in the practice sessions, qualifying

and THE RACE.

DRIVER’S ETIQUETTE

Each competitor must ad here to the rules, respect the Officials of the competition

and their decisions.

Each competitor must respect the rights, dignity and values of others regardless of

the gender, ability, physical appearance, cultural background or religion of other

competitor(s).

Each competitor must take the consequences for their actions.

Each competitor is responsible for his/her vehicle and complies with the rules of

the competition and able to compete safely, including practice(s), qualifying and

THE RACE itself.

Only approved equipment (eg helmet, gloves, shoes and overalls) can be used to

compete.

Competitors are responsible for identifying and assessing their own level of

capability against other drivers and taking responsibility for their own action

during THE RACE, qualifying and practice session(s).

A minimum basic gokart knowledge (racing knowledge and practice) is required.

In order to comply with this, each competitor is required to fill out a test sheet at

the beginning of the competition.

It is the responsibility of the competitor to determine before taking part in the

practice(s), qualifying and THE RACE, whether he/she is in need of any medical

treatment or whether the condition of the competitor is appropriate for the

competition.

Each competitor must observe the basic human rules of courtesy and etiquette

against other competitors during the practice(s), qualifying and in THE RACE.

Any disputes or problems that arise during the event must be submitted in a

respectful manner to the appropriate person (officials).

The safety of children in this sport is of paramount importance.

Knowledge of the code of ethics is therefore of the utmost importance in

children's sports, and should be encouraged and promoted.

The competitor's own responsibility is to ensure the safety of children during the

practice(s), qualifying and in THE RACE.

The competitor’s responsibility to read and fully understand the posted rules,

regulations and other provisions before the start of the competition, thus helping

to ensure smooth running of the tournament.

If someone doesn’t understand something or has any question about the rules

mentioned, he/she may and must ask any questions at the drivers’ briefing session.

Every competitor must respect the environment and the living space of the local

people around the competition venue.

Responsibility must be taken to reduce excessive noise and to ensure that the

environment used is clean and free of pollution.

Every competitor must acknowledge that the use of drugs and alcohol is strictly

forbidden before or during the entire event/competition.

Taking drugs or driving under the influence of alcohol is a crime and not

tolerated.

Offenders will be excluded from the event and will face further disciplinary

action.

Any offensive comment on social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) for teams,

contestants, officials, organisers, or any other person who is involved in the go-

karting sports, competition, is responsible for his/her own actions and words, and

he/she can and will be held responsible.

STARTING CATEGORIES, OTHER CLASSES

In all cases, the merger of the categories will be decided by the Race Director

in the knowledge of the number of competitors. If there is not a minimum of 5

people in one category, they can be merged with another category, but their

assessment is done separately!

If the number of competitors in a given category is less than 5, the Race

Director may decide to cancel the category in that given round.

The Organiser of the Competition reserves the rights (for a minimum of 5 people)

to start any other new categories as well!

This decision is made individually, taking into account the possibility of launching

together with the current engine classes.

Competitors can choose their own racing numbers to be used throughout the

season, which the organiser of the tournament will check if it is available and will

confirm that it can be used before the season starts. (To avoid any racing number

duplication, the competitor, who requests that particular racing number first will be

given that requested number.)

The racing numbers must be clearly readable and clearly placed on all 4 sided of

the gokart. The racing numbers must be black numbers on a yellow background.

It is forbidden to enter to the rack without a racing number or with an incomplete

(missing digit) racing number!

DRIVER’S BRIEFING

The briefing of the competitors (drivers) is a COMPULSORY BRIEFING

organised by the Race Director, or his agent, and every competitor entered for the

competition must attend. All competitors are obliged to take part!

The competitor who does not take part in the racing briefing cannot start the

competition!

For a minor (under 18 years of age), the competitor's representative must also be

present at the briefing with the minor.

SAFETY AND COMPETITION RULES

Entering to the Track

The rules of being on the track and it’ssafety requirements are the same for training

and competitions. Only competitors and their technical support can go to the track!

Signs are clearly placed by the Organiser at the areas of the track where the public

cannot enter which are strictly prohibited for health and safety reasons.

During the competition (free practice(s), qualifying, THE RACE) only those

competitors who have successfully completed the administrative registration and

their tyres are marked can be on the track!

During the competition (free practice(s), qualifying, THE RACE), only the

directors, judges, race Marshalls, competitors and designated photographers

(wearing high visibility vests) may be on the track.

Competitors' support and mechanics must leave the track before the race start.In

the area of the start-line or the quick repair/pit area, with due diligence, mechanics

may carry out repair work after the start.

You can only enter the track again at the end of the race!In an event of a technical

failure, the gokart can only be taken off at the end of the race!The track is closed

duringthe race!

In addition to the above, it is forbidden to enter to the track.

Only the competitor concerned (authorised representative of minors) and the team

leader can enter to the Race Director’s office!

PRACTICES, QUALIFYING SESSIONS AND THE RACE

Free practice and qualifying sessions

In the 2018 season, there are 2 free practices and 1 qualifying in each racing

category.

The Organiser may change the number of free practices.

THE RACE – consist of the Semi-final and the Final

MicroMax category:

Race 1 - 10 laps - Semi-final

Race 2 - 10 laps - Final

Total: 20 laps

MiniMax / Junior category:

Race 1 – 11 laps – Semi-final

Race 2 - 11 laps - Final

Total: 22 laps

Adult Categories:

Race 1 -15 laps - Semi-final

Race 2- 15 laps -Final

Total: 30 laps

In the case of 2 competitors with equal points at the end of THE RACE, the overall

better placed Competitor (Race result order: in the Final and then the Semi Final)

will receive the better placed position.

THE RACE Order - Grid positions

In each category there are two independent races. Race 1 (semi-final) and Race 2

(Final).

THE RACE = Semi-final and the Final

SEMI-FINAL: the qualifying session result determines the starting line-up.

FINAL: the Race 1 (Semi Final) result determines the starting line-up.

General Starting Procedure

Competitors perform 1 warm-up and 1 formation laps before the rolling start of

THE RACE.

Exception KZ category: 2 warm-up laps and standing start.

The competitor starting from the pole position in the warm-up and formation laps

shall drive in such a speed that:

at the end of the formation lap, all competitors on the track, even the one in

the last position, can line up;

warming up the tyres be sufficient;

the engines can operate at the correct rpm (so they can accelerate once signal

is given)

The distance between the competitors, behind each other, cannot be greater than

one (1) gokart length, approx. 1.8 meters.

(An improper deliberate manoeuvre, before the start of the start signal, will lead to

a time penalty!)

The start of THE RACE will be indicated by light signal or flag signal.

The start shall be deemed to be given as soon as the red light (s) goes off

simultaneously or the National Flag reaches the horizontal position in the

downward direction.

If the technical conditions of the track do not allow this, the following can also be

used:

the green light or

the national or green flag for the start signal

In the event of a rolling start:

It is forbidden to accelerate or overtake in the yellow line area before the start line!

Before the starting signal is given, competitors must drive in front of and next to

each other in the two designated white lanes, which are the starting lanes, at a

steady pace following the first two competitors in the front line, keeping the speed

dictated by the competitor who is in the pole position.

After first competitor crosses the yellow line, the Head Judge may enter the signal

to start at any seconds.

Once the start signal is given, it means go for all the competitors.

Overtaking only allowed after the start signal was given.

After the signal was given, competitors who are further back the line-up may also

start to overtake even if their go-kart has not passed the yellow line.

The Head Judge will only give the start signal if all the competitors “assembled” in

the formation lap correctly.

In the event of a repeated false start, the Head Judge may stop the starting process

by displaying the red flag and stop the race.

As soon as the start signal is given, the competition rules will be in effect.

Assistance to gokarts can only be given if the gokart is parked in a safe place.

If a competitor's engine stops in the formation lap, then it may be started again

with the aid of the Race Marshalls, but only after all competitors passed and it is

safe to do so.

If a competitor cannot start THE RACE in the line-up for any reason, then he/she

must clearly signal by raising one of his/her arm and must pull out of the way from

the start-line. Once all competitors passed and it is safe to do so, he/she must pull

of the track immediately park it in a safe distance of the track.

Conducting THE RACE

1. Once the Race Director gives the call or signal for the competitors that THE

RACE about to start, all competitors must be at the gathering point or in the

pit lane within one minute.

2. Only when the Head Judge gives the signal, can the competitors drive to the

starting grids from the gathering point or pit lane.

3. A competitor, who, for any reason (technical, delays, etc.) cannot leave the

gathering area with the other competitors and misses his/her place, he/she

must wait at the gathering point/pit lane until all competitors leave the start

and then he/she may enter THE RACE (starting from gathering point/pit

lane)

4. The start signal (green flag/green lights) will be given to start THE RACE.

5. From this moment on, all the competitors will be under the control of the

Head Judge and the starting rule applies.

6. Competitors may get external mechanical help or help from the Marshals

before the starting process, at the gathering area/pit lane or around the track

if the gokart brakes down and needs to be removed safely off the track.

7. Before THE RACE starts, maximum 2 formation laps can be carried in a

manner that all competitors may adequately catch up and line up for THE

RACE.

8. Each competitor is responsible for maintaining his/her qualifying position in

the formation lap and just before the start.

9. When the Head Judge is satisfied with the formation and everyone is lined

up sufficiently, he will then give the start signal.

10. In case the Head Judged is satisfied with the formation, he may allow

another formation lap or stop the competitors.

11. The Head Judge has the right to stop the competitors and order a new

starting process from the beginning.

12. Any breach of the Rules of Starting Procedure shall result in a penalty.

The end of THE RACE

The “end of the race” flag (black and white chequered flag) will be shown when

the competitor in the first position has completed his/her last lap of THE RACE.

When THE RACE finishes, at the finishing line the Black and White Chequered

flag marks the end of the race, the competition finished. The black and white

chequered flag is only displayed when the competitor at the first position

completed the required number of laps.

At the end of THE RACE, once crossing the finishing line, each competitor must

immediately attend the weighing (gokart, driver with all safety equipment).

Interruptions during the practice, qualifying and THE RACE

If there is an interruption or postponement (accident or for weather reason) during

the practice and/or qualifying sessions and/or THE RACE, that session is not

repeated. Result is in accordance with the Scoring System (see later on).

TECHNICAL AND SECURITY CONDITIONS

The organiser provides the following safety and technical conditions to ensure the

smooth and safe running of the competition:

clear and safe track with essentials, protective devices,

the viewers’ safety,

service/paddock area away from public, power supply.

The organiser ensures that only authorised people can only stay on the track during

the competition!

(See above: Entry to the Track!)

During the free practice(s) the mechanic can carry out repairs in the pit lane area.

During the free practice gokarts with technical issues or broken down vehicles

cannot be recovered until the end of the practice session(s) once the chequered flag

has been shown and it is safe to do so!

FOR SAFE RACING

In accordance with the requirements of the FIA Sport Rules 134. § [ 2007], the

organiser of the competition will, as a matter of priority for the safety of the

competitors, regulate the right of taking part in the competition for those who has

not yet got enough experience:

Any enrolled competitor, whose best qualifying time is slower than 107% of the

pole position racer's time, will not be allowed to compete in the race.

In exceptional cases, the Race Director may, in the case of any extraordinary

circumstances, override the decision.

Example:

pole positioning’s lap time: 38.6 sec

limit time: 38.6 x 1.07 = 41.302 sec

a competitor, who is slower than the limit time cannot start THE RACE!

ADDITIONAL RULES

It is strictly forbidden for competitors to drive opposite the racing direction unless

it is justified to move the gokart out of danger.

During training and competitions, any karts that have stopped/broke down should

be removed as soon as possible from the track, so that it does not cause any danger

or obstacle for the other riders.

Any kind of repairs on the race track are forbidden.

The competitor cannot take any tools or spare parts on the racing track.

Refuelling can only take place at the designated location.

Those who wish to leave the race track during the practice session(s), qualifying

and THE RACE must clearly raise one arm up in advance to indicate their

intentions to leave the track.

Leaving the track cannot danger other competitors, or cannot put them in any kind

of disadvantaged.

The competitor must wear the required protective clothing and helmet during

practice sessions, qualifying and THE RACE.

During practice session(s), qualifying and THE RACE, the helmet should only be

removed if the competitor leaves the track, stops at a safe place and gets out of the

gokart.

Competitors must always drive the right direction of the race track.

Intentional shortening of the race track, cutting corners, for the purpose of gaining

advantage, is FORBIDDEN!

The offender of such an offence will be punished by exclusion.

A serious offense is pushing someone off the track, aggressive driving and/or

colliding into other competitors.

Causing any danger to a competitor is forbidden.

When a competitor needs to leave the race track, he/she must clearly raise one arm

up to indicate in advance their intentions to leave the track. The Head Judge has

the right to exclude a competitor from THE RACE, if he/she or any member of the

competitor’s team violates the rules of sport, technical or sportsmanship.

FLAG SIGNALS

National flag

Indicates the start of the race.

Blue

Shown only to drivers who are about to be overtaken or they are being lapped.

Flag stationary: Soon being overlapped, keep your racing line.

Flag waved: one or more competitors following close behind, let them pass.

Yellow

Flag stationary: Warning for a danger area

Flag waved: alerting an immediate danger.

Competitors must expect passing an obstacle on or nearby the track, they must

slow down and strictly no overtaking.

Restriction lasts until the green flag is shown/waved.

White

Vehicle slow vehicle moving on or near the track (eganambulance)

Yellow-red stripes

Slippery surface (eg due to oil or water spray)

Green

All clear, danger has been cleared. Green flag overrides/cancels the yellow, red

and red & yellow flags.

Green flag with yellow "V" shape

False start.

Upon seeing this flag, competitors must complete a new round of formation lap.

Driver warning, suspect behaviour, you may be black flagged.

It is shown to a competitor of a defective gokart whose further taking part is

irregular or dangerous.

The driver must return to the paddock where the fault can be corrected.

After the repair the competitor has the right to continue the race.

Exclusion from competition.

The driver must immediately return to the paddock and report to the Racing

Director.

Red flag

Stop racing, be prepared to stop if needed.

Proceed slowly without overtaking to the starting grid or pit lane area.

End of THE RACE/qualifying/practice session.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Only gokarts which ad here to the safety regulations, standards, sport profession

and the rules described above may be entered for the competition.

Gokarts must be maintained in such a way that, in accordance with the rules, there

is no danger to the driver and other competitors.

COMPETITOR’S EQUIPMENT/CLOTHING

Each competitor MUST wear the following during the competition:

Helmets with "E" marking, or of the same quality and condition as CIK- FIA

specifications, with unbreakable wiser with lockable chin strap.

Clothes (or overalls) which covers arms, legs and it has elastic bands or tight

fitted at the angles and writs.

Shoes suitable for racing, which provides foot and ankle protection,

Protective gloves with adequate strength for the protection of hands

The use of a headset (radio) is not allowed

FUEL

Only the commercially available unleaded ESZ-95 / E5 ENGINE fuel may be used

on the races and, in the ratio recommended by the engine manufacturer two-stroke

engine oil mixture is allowed to use.

The quality of the fuel can be checked by the organiser on a random basis during

the race day.

The use of so called “race fuel” and additives are not allowed!! (eg PANTA race

fuel)

Fuel lines must be adequately secured and fitted to avoid leakage.

Ventilation of the fuel tank or any overflow can be made in a closed container.

BODYWORK OF THE GOKART

For all categories, the use of “short track bodywork” is compulsory which to be

compliant bz the CIK-FIA regulations is compulsory.

The racing number must be clearly visible and readable and to be placed the front,

rear and side panels of the gokart.

It is compulsory for the gokart to be fitted with a front and two side plastic impact

protection panels and there rear metal or plastic "bumper", which must cover at

least 90% of the maximum width of the go-kart.

FLOOR TRAY

The floor traymust be made of rigid material, which reaches from the centre brace

of the chassis frame to the front of the frame.

On each side there must be edges - either with a tube or with a rim - to protect the

driver from the risk of slipping offthe floor.

If the floor trayis perforated, the holes must not be larger than 1 cm in diameter.

Their distance should not be less than four times the diameter.

CHAINPROTECTION

It is mandatory to use properly cover the chain,sprockets up to the centre of the

small sprocket shaft. It should also include, as far as possible, suitable side

protection.

BRAKE

The braking system must be efficient and at least the rear wheels must be braking

at the same time.

The connection (link between the brake pedal and the master cylinder) must be

doubled

(if a brake cable is used, it must be a minimum diameter of 1.8 mm and must be

safely secured)

BUMPERS/THE PODS

Front Bumper:

Distance from ground: minimum 20 mm. Fitted parallel/above to the front chassis.

The bumper shall consist of one or more welded 15 mm diameter tubes. The

bumper must be designed to allow the fixing of the compulsory, homologated front

aerodynamic spoiler/bodywork.

Fixing the Spoiler/front bodywork: A new type of front collar release case

(KA682CIK) is required!

Rear bumper:

It must be made of a minimum of 15 mm diameter side protection bar or equivalent

piece and a minimum bar diameter of 19 mm in diameter or a piece equal to that

which must be placed at least 20 mm from the ground. This unit must be attached

to the chassis frame by at least 2 points, preferably with a flexibility system.

Side pod:

The distance from the ground should not exceed its rear axle. The minimum

diameter of the bumpers is 15mm.

STEARING

Steering must be controlled by a sealed, preferably circular steering wheel.

A steering wheel with a different geometry can in no way compromise the physical

integrity of the competitor.

No device mounted on a steering wheel may extend beyond the wheel's diameterby

more than 20 mm and shall not have sharp edges.

Flexible - cable or chain - steering is prohibited.

The fixing of the steering system must be achieved in such a way as to provide

maximum safety with a self-locking nut and through-bolt.

RACING TYRES

The tyre requirements depend on the racing categories.

The following general tyrerules shall be used in all categories.

On the qualifyingand in THE RACE (semi-final and final) new and used tyres can

be used, with the following restrictions:

NEW (not used) tyres: 1 set + 1 spare front or rear tyre

OR

For used tyres: 1 set + 1 spare front or rear tyre.

(In the event that one of the used tyres is so worn that it may danger safe racing,

than another used tyre can be used with the permission of the Racing Director!)

The number of tyres used in the free practice(s) is not controlled.

The competitor may only use already checked and approved tyres by the Technical

Inspectors. If the competitor would like to use a new set of Mojo tyres at the

qualifying and THE RACE, they can only be bought from the Organiser on-site.

When the Racing Director declares racing in the rain, the competitor can decides to

compete with wets or slicks tyres.

It is forbidden to use a mixture of slicks and wets tyres at the same time.

When the weather is declared dry in THE RACE or in qualifying, only slicks tyres

are allowed.

Wheel repairs cannot, under any circumstances, be carried out on the track.

SEAT

The seat shall be designed and fitted to prevent slipping or moving in the seat

whilst turning, driving or braking.

PEDALS

Regardless of the position of the pedals, they must not extend over the chassis,

including the bumper.

The pedals must be placed in front of the master cylinder.

ACCELERATORPEDAL

The throttle should be controlled by a pedal with a return/pull spring.

A mechanical (cable) connection between the top of the carburettor and the pedal

must be used.

FUELTANK

Must be fitted securely to the frame.

It must be designed that no petrol leakage via the fuel pipe and/or the fuel tank

(which must be made out of a flexible, resilient material) can occur during the race.

SIZES, WEIGHT CHECK (WEIGING)

Sizes:

The shaft range of the gokarts is optional but may only be in line with the

manufacturer's design.

The maximum distance of the outer rim of the rear wheels is

1400 mm for adult categories, but up to the lateral vertical outer plane of the side

panels(collision protection).

Additional weights, if need to be added to the gokart to make it the right weight,

they must be fixed to the frame and/or the seat of the gokart in such a way that:

Stay on the gokarts at all times in all circumstances, firmly and securely

Screws that used to secure the weights can only be removed by tools and not

by hand.

Weight checks happen at the following occasions:

After the qualifying,

After THE RACE (both the semi-final and even after the final!

At the weight check, the gokart and the competitor in full racing clothing, will be

measured.

Weight checks (weighing) also compulsory for competitors who failed to finish

either the qualifying or THE RACE (both semi-final or the final).

PENALTIES

The following penalties may be given for the violations of sports or technical

regulations, depending on the severity of the offences committed:

• warning

• time penalty

• exclusion

Penalties to be given for:

• leaving the race track for gaining advantage/position

• Intentionally obstruct someone, causing collision or any other risk,

• braking the rules by accepting unauthorised assistance/help

• repeatedly ignoring flag signals,

• unsportsmanlike behaviour,

• breaking another rule after final warning was given,

• Failing a breath test for alcohol

RACING PENALTIES

1.Formation error

Description: When, in the formation lap, a competitor moves into a better position

and does not go back to his/her original starting position by the time the race signal

is given.

Penalty: Exclusion

2.False/incorrect start

Description: When, at the end of the formation lap, during the line-up process, a

competitor’s gokart’s 2 wheels leave the white line of the designated starting lane

before THE RACE is started by the Head Judge.

Leaving the designated white lane: When the wheels are travelling outside the

white line of the designated starting lane.

Penalty: 3 seconds

(10secondsifthego-kartleavesallfourwheelsbeforethe start signal was given)

It does not matter whether or not the competitor gained or did not gain a better

place.

3.Jumpstart

Description: When a competitor, who starts from behind, he/she accelerates and

overtakes the competitor in front of him/her, before the start signal/flag was given

by the Head Judge. A penalty will be given, regardless if the race has started or

not.

Penalty: 10 seconds

It does not matter whether or not the competitor gained or did not gain a better

place.

4. Cutting in front of someone

Description: When, in the bend, a competitor is overtaking another driver from the

outside curve and then cutting in and forcing the driver in the inside curve to leave

the track either partially or fully.

The pre-condition: The competitor in the inside curve is behind 1/3rd of a length of

the gokart (the front wheel of the competitor in the inside curve and rear wheel of

the competitor on the outside curve are side by side).

We are talking about the competitor who cut someone else of gaining an advantage

when the other competitor’s gokart, on the inside curve, is damaged, loses position,

or has to retire in the same lap.

Penalty: Last warning before exclusion

5. Pushing-into the inside curve

Description: A competitor who is slightly behind the other racer pulls next to the

racer in front (for example, starting overtaking action) without leaving enough

space for the overtaking and forces the competitor next to him/her to take the

longer line instead of the race-line (including pushing the other racer onto the kerb)

and that competitor if forced behind.

It does not matter whether the competitor from behind partially or fully passes the

other competitor, or that competitor from behind partially or fully leaves the track.

We are talking about the competitor, who pushes in to the inside curve, gaining an

advantage when the other competitor’s gokart gets damaged, he/she loses position,

or loses time in the same lap.

6. Pushing someone out/off the track

Description: When a competitor trying to stop another competitor overtaking by

pushing him/her onto the side of the track or off the track either partially or fully.

Precondition: When the competitor in front of the other gokart by 1/3 of a gokart

length.

We are talking about gaining advantage when the competitor’s gokart, who was

trying to overtake, gets damaged, or the competitor loses position or forced to

retired in the same lap.

Penalty: Generally: last warning before exclusion.

7. Bumping into someone

Description: A competitor bumps into/drives into the driver in front, either

accidently or not. It does not matter if it was intentional or not, the cause of the

push, nor the intensity. The severity of the collision will decide the consequences.

We are talking about gaining an advantage when the competitor from behind gains

a better position, the other competitor’s gokart gets damaged, he/she loses position

or even has to retire from the race.

Penalty: In the event the competitor does not gain a better position: Last Warning

Before Exclusion.

In the event he/she gains a better position than the penalty: 10 seconds.

8. Cutting the corners

Description: When two riders competing side by side, the competitor on the inner

curve completely or partially leaves the track and returns to another part of the

track. It does not matter why he missed the track. Advantage is when the

competitor leaving the track wins the position over the other competitor and the

other competitor loses position or even has to retire in the same lap.

Penalty:

In the event the competitor who cut the corner does not gain a better position: Last

Warning Before Exclusion.

In the event he/she gains a better position than the penalty: 10 seconds.

9. Leaving the track

The area between the two edges of the track marked clearly with 2 white lines is

considered to be the race track. Leaving the track means a competitor leaves the

race track fully, all 4 wheels of the gokart is off the track. A competitor who leaves

the track must immediately reduce his speed and return to the track carefully,

without disturbing any other competitors or causing danger.

The Penalty for leaving the track, if it was intentionally and with the aim to gain

position:

During qualifying: - competitor’s the best lap time is cancelled.

During THE RACE: 10 seconds penalty/occasion.

10.Zigzagging

Description: A competitor, who is in front of the other driver, zigzagging (pulling

the steering wheel left to right, changing the race line on purpose) in the straights

by a width of a gokart and happens more than twice. This is only relevant when a

competitor from behind is trying to overtake and this zigzag manoeuvre blocked

the overtaking.

We are talking about gaining an advantage when the competitor carried out this

manoeuvre at least once and he/she blocked the other competitor overtaking.

Penalties:

In the event the competitor did not manage to block the overtaking: Last Warning

Before Exclusion.

In the event the competitor did manage to block the overtaking: 10 seconds.

11. Ignoring the Flag signal

Description: When the competitor does not comply with the flag signals given by

the Head Judge or the Racing Director. It does not matter which flag it is, why it

was ignored or whether the competitor gained a better or not.

Typical examples:

overtaking under YELLOW (danger) flag.

a slower competitor, who is being overlapped, ignores the BLUE flag

continuing the race after showing the RED flag (race interruption/being

stopped)

continuing the competition after the BLACK (exclusion) flag is presented

continuing the race after showing the BLACK flag with an ORANGE

DOT(mechanical failure)

etc.

Penalty: Exclusion

12. Technical issues, deficiencies

Description: The gokart does not meet the technical specifications in all cases.

It does not matter whether the technical deficiency/issue is before, during or after

the race. It also does not matter whether technical deficiencies are beneficial or not.

It matters exactly in what condition the gokart is at the time of an inspection.

Typical examples of technical deficiencies/issues:

not keeping the weight limit

incorrect assembly

use of unregulated fuel, oil and coolant liquid

modified Parts

etc.

Penalty: Exclusion

OTHER PENALTIES

1. The lack of compulsory advertising, and missing advertising on the gokarts,

per competition.

The same amount as the entry fee

2. Missing the test of the Rules.

It must be checked at the time of entry.

A competitor, who has not passed the exam about the rules, cannot qualify for the

competition.

3. Lack of insurance.

It must be checked at the time of entry.

A competitor, who does not have a valid insurance, cannot qualify for the race.

4. Travelling the wrong racing direction during practice(s), qualifying, THE

RACE, except when a competitor spins and ends of facing the wrong direction

5. Cutting corners at practice(s).

Regarding where the competitor qualifies in the qualifying, he/she will start off the

grid last.

6. Cutting corners in qualifying (unless it was to avoid an accident)

Regarding where the competitor qualifies in the qualifying and the semi-final,

13. Involved in an accident and leaves the race track without the permission of

the Head Judge

14. Failure to attend the mandatory technical check.

Exclusion of the competition entirely

15. Missing any compulsory equipment/clothing.

The Head Judge cannot allow the competitor onto the race track.

16. Travelling in the paddock area by motorbike, moped or any motorised

vehicles, including electric powered as well.

Exclusion from the competition

17. Racing numbers are not displayed on the gokart.

The Head Judge cannot allow the competitor to enter onto the race track

18. Intentional interruption of practice(s), qualifying and THE RACE.


19. Failure to weigh.


20. Failure to take your rubbish into the designated area.

21. Smoking is not allowed in the start preparation area, enclosed parking, pit

lane/area.

23. Refusing the breathalyser test for alcohol

25. Failure to attend the drivers’ briefing (pre-race briefing)

26. Overtaking in the area between the yellow line and the so-called red line

41. Being under the influence of Drugs and/or alcohol


42. It is forbidden to cut corners of the track nevertheless the competitor is

trying to recover his/her starting position.


43. Any breach of the rules of the starting process will result in a penalty.


44. After the black flag with an orange circle in the center has been shown and

the competitor does not leave the track within 3 laps.

Exclusion from the race.

Objection/challenging any decisions

There is no possibility to object or challenge any decision on the day. Comments,

objections or challenges to a decision about the event may be submitted in writing

to the official e-mail address ([email protected]) within 3 days of the

competition. In all cases, the organiser will reply in writing. In the case of a

dispute, the decision of the Officials (Ethics Committee) is the final one.

Scoring for all categories

Points awarded for positions 1 to 15. as25, 20, 16, 13, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3,

2, 1 points.

The points are allocated according to the table below.

A - THE RACE lengths (number of laps)

B - Laps needed to be completed to receive points (number of laps)

If the competitor fails to compete the required minimum distance (number of laps),

he/she will not receive any points.

In the event if the semi-final and/or the final is stopped before it’s complete (due to

weather conditions, accident, etc.) the points are allocated according to the above

table. If at the time of the stop the competitor in the first position has not reached

the specified minimum number of laps in the race, then each competitor will be

awarded half of the amount of points.

In the year 2018 6 competitions will count towards the championship! One race

result can be discounted out of the 7 competitions.

At the last competitions of the season double points are given IN THE RACE

(in the semi-final and the final), so the maximum scores that can be achieved

in the that day of competitionare100 points!

Competition(s), when it is declared a wet race by the Race Director on the

day, the points will be multiplied by 1.75 and those points will be awarded for

THE RACE on that day.

Extra points

The competitor, who has the fastest lap in the Final, will be awarded with an

extra 5 points, regardless of his/her position at the end of THE RACE! A

retired competitor’s time will not be taken into account.

AWARDS, EVALUATION

Trophies will be awarded in all categories to competitors who finished in position

1-3. Medals will be awarded in all categories for finishers 4-5. The exception is the

Micromax category, in which each competitor will receive a trophy. In each

competition additional awards will be given within amateurs and active drivers.

Trophies are awarded if the number of competitors at least 5 or

more/category/round. (This applies to all categories wether amateurs and active

drivers!) If the numbers less than 5, then medals will be given.

At the end of the season, those competitors will awarded a Trophy who completed

at least 4 races in the championship

Amateurs and active drivers will be evaluated separately in the annual

championship!

A competitor counts as an active driver if he/she has a racing driver’s licence or in

some point in the last 3 years held such a licence. (This includes Hungarian and

foreign daily and annual licenses.)

The organiser can check and override the amateur and active driver status.

TO EXERCISE YOUR MEDIA RIGHTS

At the Gokart Talent Cup events, commercial and promotional activities and media

rights are reserved exclusively for the Organiser. Only M-Kart Racing Foundation

is entitled to access these rights.

The Foundation's written consent is required to make photos and videos in the

competition!

An exception is the private "family" recording.

All competitors, participants, mechanics agree and declare that any recordings,

statements and other materials made on the events can be published in the written

or electronic format(on the Internet).

ADVERTISING

Advertising required by Organiser

The organiser of the competition has the right to request certain advertisement to

be placed on the gokarts.

The size of the required advertisement should not exceed 300 mm X 60 mm.

Only the advertisement of 200 mm x 40 mm specified by the organizer can be

placed on the racing number plate.

You may pay a fee so that no advertisement is placed on your gokart, the amount

of which is double the entry fee.

TECHNICAL INSPECTION

Prior to the 1st practice of each category, competitors must attend the

technical check and must show their safety equipment, including clothing. (In

exceptional circumstances and when it is authorised, this may happen before the

2nd practice session.)

The podium finishers will go through a thorough technical checks at all times (after

practice(s), qualifying and after THE RACE.)

The competitor must agree to these checks!

TECHNICAL REGULATIONSAND SPECIFICATIONS

ROTAX MICRO MAX

FR 125

Age: 7-11 years

Chassis: The CIK-FIA complies with the regulations.

Use of bodywork parts complying with CIK-FIA regulations is compulsory. Use of

the extended rear bumper is mandatory.

Only MINI 950 or 850 frames can be used.

Track distance: rear max. 110 cm, front max. 106 cm

Engine: Rotax 125 ccm water cooled Engine.

THE ENGINE MUST CONTAIN THE REDUCER IN THE EXHAUST.

Gear: front sprockets 14 or 15, the rear sprockets is freely selectable.

Compression pressure: 2.40 - 2.70 mm

Carburettor: Dellorto VHSB 34

Radiator: It is mandatory to use the original MicroMax radiator.

Noise Reduction: It is mandatory to use the original type.

Age: 15 years and over




Engine: Rotax Max 125 DD2 is a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, power-driven

engine with 2 speeds and clutches.

Maximum cylinder capacity 125 cm3, with transmission, clutch.

Maximum power is 24 KW.

Any modification on the engine is forbidden!







Tyre size: 4.5X10.0X5 and 7.1X11.0X5.

Slicks, MOJO D3 (in the first two competitions of the season) or Mojo D4.




SWF (Super World Formula 4T)

Age: 15 years and over.

Chassis: Comply with the CIK-FIA World Formula specifications. Only

homologated or registered chassis can be used. It is forbidden to replace ay parts of

the chassis with another parts made by other company, apart from the rims. Use of

bodywork elements compliant with CIK-FIA! Use of the extended rear bumper is

compulsory!

Engine: Piaggio M / 201 type, single cylinder, liquid cooled four-stroke, four-valve

engine with carbide- coated cylinder with no shifters. The cylinder bore is 72 mm,

the stroke length is 48.6 mm. The maximum engine speed is 11050 rpm. Use of an

injector, apart from the fuel, introduction of other materials into the engine,

Prohibited! The use of electric starter and clutch is permitted. Maximum cylinder

capacity is 199 cm3. Engine homologated by the MNASZ Technical Committee.

Any modification on the engine (even polishing) is prohibited. The engine must be

sealed, compulsory! Sealing can only be carried out by specialists commissioned

by Visuál SE (2013 Pomáz, Békeút 5) and Pénzes ASE (2381 Táborfalva, Hunyadi

út 44).

Cylinder-head Gasket: Only the original is allowed to use, 1.25mm

Cylinder-base Gasket: Only the originals are allowed to use, 0.4mm – 0.6mm –

0.8mm

Compression volume: Min: 17 cm3.

Compression pressure: 1.00 mm

Carburettor: Required to use the original type. Any modification (polishing) on the

atomiser is prohibited.

Noise Reduction: CIK homologated or registered type.

Ignition: Allowed to use the original type or use of remade CDI too.

Exhaust: Pénzes Kart Type WF1.

Self-starter/electric starter: Original or after mark it part can be used.

Clutch: Required to use the original type without any changes.

Starting RPM under pressure: f/min (+-10%)

Driver axis: Required to use the original type, without any changes.

Camshaft dimensions: exhaust valve lift cam base diameter: 25.10 (+-0.03)mm,

peak diameter: 29.16 (+-0.07)mm

inlet valve lift cam base diameter: 25.00 (+-0.12) mm, peak diameter: 30.25 mm(+-

0.07).

exhaust valve diameter 19 (+-0.1)mm, opening: (6mm-0.6mm) = 5.4 mm

suction valve diameter 22 mm (+-0.12), opening: (7.5mm-0.5mm =) 7 mm

Tyre size: 4.5x10.0x5 and 7.1x11.0x5. The slicks can only be MOJO D3 (The first

two competitions of the season) or Mojo D4. The maximum permitted width for

the front wheel is 135 mm, for the rear wheel 215 mm. The wets are only MOJO

W2 or W3, its size is 4,5x10,0x5 and 6,0x11,0x5. In the GTC races, in one

weekend, competitors can use of a maximum of 5 tyres in total.

Minimum gokart weight with driver and safety equipment: 175 kg.

KZ2

Age: 15 years and over.

Power Supply: The crankshaft of the engine cannot form a separate unit from the

gearbox.

The engine block can be separated up to 2 parts along a horizontal or vertical axes.

Water-cooled, single cylinder, membrane-controlled, CIK-FIA homologated

engine with 1 nozzle.

Maximum cylinder capacity: 125 ccm

The diaphragm valve unit must be the same size as the homologation tab, and the

housing surrounding the diaphragm valve unit can be freely changed.

The Carburettor material is aluminium, the maximum diameter of the venturi

diffuser is 30 mm.

Carburettor: Dellorto VHSH30.

The Carburettor must remain strictly original.

Variable components: Schiber needle, floats, floating-house mixer (atomizer,

stock), and all jets, including idle, provided all parts have to come from Dellorto.

The built-in fuel filter can be removed - but if left, only the original can remain.

Gearbox: The CIK-FIA must be homologous to the elements of the primary drive -

meaning that it belongs to the particular engine type.

Minimum 3, maximum 6 gears are allowed.

A hand-operated and only mechanical switching mechanism is allowed without a

servo assistant.

Any interruption of ignition is prohibited.

Full exhaust opening up to 199 degrees, regardless of the homologation sheet

values.

Bulk space volume minimum 11 ccm.

Volume control is performed by a standard laboratory burette with a decimal

centimetre division.

To check for unleaded petrol and two stroke oil 1: 1 mix.

The 11 ccm volume does not include the volume of the candle.

The spark plug is a freely selectable but original factory.

Apart from the electrode, the candle body cannot hang into the combustion

chamber.

The size of the threaded shaft of the spark plug is 18.5 mm and the thread is

14X1.25

Ignition is permitted, plus a body cable, provided that the original ignition is not

modified.

Fix the body cable with at least two screws.

Exhaust: homologous muffler (resonator) with permissible magnetisable steel with

a material thickness of at least 0.75 mm.

Silencer drum is freely selectable.

Tyre Use: Only VEGA "white", MG "yellow" or other similar hardness can be

used on timing and racing. Wets to be similar categories.


Expired homologation frame and engine are allowed - if it has ever been

homologous and complies with the current rules.

No disk-crankshaft engine can be entered to the competition.

The championship will be in a form of private events based on an invitations

system in 2018!

The Organiser reserves the right to make changes!
