WELCOME From ACI World &

ACI Latin America & Caribbean

Dear Members,

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to this year’s 20th Annual World

General Assembly and Conference in conjunction with the ACI Latin America and

Caribbean Region.

Our 20th anniversary marks an important moment in the association’s life and is

a coming of age for many of our undertakings. Today we stand at a crossroads, a

critical turning point in airport business management where we can choose to lead

or to follow. We have business needs that our partners must understand, and our

voice must be strong in the global arena.

We hope that over these two days we can explore more opportunities for

leadership not only in safety and security, but also in the areas of environment,

economics, health, information technology, and collaborative decision making

with our industry partners. And where better to make those explorations than the

beautiful country of Bermuda.

Let’s build on our achievements and be ambitious in the pursuit of airport excellence. Together we will

successfully confront the many challenges that stand between us and a sustainable future for airport business.

Sincerely,

Angela Gittens Javier Martínez Botacio Director General Regional DirectorACI World ACI Latin America-Caribbean

WELCOME From the Host

Dear Delegates,

L.F. Wade International Airport and the citizens of Bermuda find great honour in

hosting Airports Council International (ACI) for the 20th Annual ACI World and

Latin America-Caribbean Annual General Assembly. Aviation has for over a half-

century provided a vital link to Bermuda, connecting our small island to the rest

of world. This makes the hosting of ACI even more special for us, thus we extend

our warmest greetings to each and every delegate, exhibitor and conference

presenter. In short, welcome to this little piece of paradise that we call home.

Over the next few days it is hoped that you will take time out to explore,

experiencing both Bermuda’s natural beauty and trademark hospitality. Whether

participating in the array of ACI planned leisure activities or choosing to discover

Bermuda at your own pace, we trust that you will thoroughly enjoy the best of

what our island has to offer.

Like any business trip, however, your time on the island cannot be devoted to pleasure alone. This year’s

conference promises to be extremely informative as ACI has assembled a wide variety of speakers and

presenters. We trust that the knowledge gained will be invaluable in our common quest to strengthen and

advance mutual interests represented at the 20th Anniversary General Assembly, Conference and Exhibition.

Once again, welcome to Bermuda. We hope your time spent here is equally as productive as it is pleasurable.

Sincerely,

Aaron AdderleyGeneral ManagerL.F. Wade International Airport
